I paid Rs. 3, 32000 for the white studio membership on 1st June 2015. Apart from this I have paid its Annual Subscription Fees every year.
My family and I decided to take Club Mahindra membership and we were told that we can book holidays easily on the Mahindra app. However, most of the time their resorts are fully booked.
Their resorts are also limited to specific locations. It is difficult for us to plan our holidays when we want to go somewhere where club mahindra does not have a resort.
Their food (buffet and Ala - carte) are also priced at much higher rates than any other hotels and resorts. They don't give a complimentary breakfast.
They also charge very high holiday inventory if we try to book in another season. (Much higher than what we were told while taking the membership)
Their holiday inventory expires after third year. So we are paying ASF every year for holidays not taken.
Also, one of my relatives gave much lesser amount for the same membership. It feels very unfair on the part of company to have cheated us with different membership fees.
It has been 8 months since I have raised the request of cancellation. My request was approved 6 months. However, they told me that they will refund me only Rs. 70, 527 which is way less than what I paid for membership and the ASF charges that I paid every year.
Policy adopted by Club Mahindra in making members is differential and unjust. Similarly policy by Club Mahindra in giving holidays is also unjust. For example, Membership at Pavana, Lonavala is not offered online reason for which is beyond my understanding.
I have been very patient and polite with the club Mahindra customer care executives for past 8-9 months. They have been dragging me since months and there has been no response from their Grievance Redressal emails mentioned on their website - [protected]@mahindraholidays.com, [protected]@mahindraholidays.com, [protected]@mahindraholidays.com
I have my emails in my sent history. I have been literally begging them for a response for months now.
It is my sincere desire to surrender the Membership and get a fair refund in this respect. I also desire to resolve the matter amicably failing which I may decide my future course of action including legal recourse against the Company in an appropriate forum.
