I wish to cancel my Club Mahindra Membership due to the following reasons:
(a) I had taken the membership considering I can visit most resorts as per my wish and as per my child's holidays. However, even in the Red season membership, I find most of the resorts booked. Thus planning a holiday during the school vacations to a destination of our choice is just impossible. Very clearly the space available is far lesser than the membership sold. In effect our membership has been rendered useless.
(d) Cost of food is exorbitant. Per person buffet is somewhere like Rs. 750 to 1750 while Ala-carte is more costly. So, while most other hotels offer complimentary breakfast and reasonable meals, cost of meal at Club Mahindra is very high. There are almost no other options available for dining except at Club Mahindra. Their resorts are at far away places so you can not go out and eat.
(e) The vehicle they provide for sight seeing is exorbitantly costly. As their resorts are far away you don't have any other option but to hire their vehicles. In Many resorts they do not allow outside commercial vehicles to come inside the resort for pickups so you have to pay almost double the market price to hire their vehicles.
Policy adopted by Club Mahindra in making members is differential and unjust, it is almost like creating a colour coded cast system where in your sales team keeps chasing us to upgrade our cast to purple.
It is my sincere desire to surrender the Membership and get the refund in this respect. I also desire to resolve the matter amicably failing which I may decide my future course of action including legal recourse against the Company in an appropriate forum.
