[Resolved] Club Mahindra Holidays — Failure of commitment | |
I purchased membership for 6 person @ 2, 22, 000 on 2nd October when their representative made a detailed presentation. I also submitted a cheque for 1, 11, 000 and 4, 625 as it EMI. They also said that in due course there will be a verification phone call from Chennai. After taking due signatures and also payment their representative (Taheer and Mohsin) backed out from the commitment for 6 persons and said for the scheme is for 4 persons.Now when the verification phone came we turned down the membership and demanded return of money which now they say shall deduct 60, 000. We have stopped the payment for EMI however we are surprised at the non committal attitude and we solicit return of full amount Please note the cheque shall be returned for want of failing services and dispute in non fulfilling the commitment.
This is a clear case of cheating under section no 420 of IPC
