[Resolved]  Club Mahindra Holidays — Refund the money over bad experiences of club Mahindra holidays or need final settlement

Hello,

My name is Rajeshree Gajjar. I am from Ahmedabad. hope I am a value able member of Club Mahindra. My membership id is 511627. One year ago, we received a call from club Mahindra Ahmedabad office. They told us that we won a food voucher, please collect it from our office.

When we reached at the office, they explained us about club Mahindra resorts, properties and membership details for almost 4 hours. They included that we can visit Kensville golf club located at Ahmedabad at any time before prior booking if we have a membership. We felt that we can have many advantages and we were interested for the same.

We liked membership offers and we accepted the offer or membership.

Now, let’s talk about our experiences with Club Mahindra.

First experience: - We got complimentary food voucher. Unfortunately, we were not available in the city while that duration. I am working in Infosys, Pune. So, I had to visit my office in that duration. When we were back, we called the sales person about food voucher. He told me that he will extend the voucher or give us another food voucher. but he might forget about it and we didn’t call back for such a small kind of things.

Second experience: - We were planning to visit Kensville golf club with friends as club Mahindra sales person explained us that it is under club Mahindra property and we can visit it any time, at the time of membership registration. When we called for the same, he told me below things: -

Sir per person 2500/- + taxes

Breakfast

Lunch

High tea

Golf is not included

So, we found that the charge was too high as compared to all other clubs in Ahmedabad. We didn’t find any membership advantage here and we just let go these things.

Third experience: - At the time of membership registration club Mahindra manager told us that they will plan our first trip for making it beautiful and mesmerizing. We will give u poolside dinner and all. So, we were very excited for the same. Meanwhile, I had to attend one meeting in my Trivandrum, Kerala Office. So, we decided that we will visit nearby resort of club Mahindra after attending my meetings. So, we checked application and we found that there are many resorts in Kerala i.e., Ashtamudi, Poovar etc. So, we called the manager he told us that we should go to Poovar, it is the best out of bests. So, we believed him and booked our first trip. We checked resort activities in club Mahindra application before visiting the resort and we found that there were many free activities in Poovar resort like gardening and morning yoga. We booked those activities.

When we reached at the resort, we were welcomed by resort staff which was a nice experience. At the time of check in, one person explained us about 3 days food plan and expenses. We found that it was quite expensive at that time but we booked it. We found that the food quality, Service and verity was amazing. It was worth it compare to all money. We appreciate that and the kitchen staff was very helpful and jolly.

We were staying in private pool villa. Villa was good. But looked like old property. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. A.C. was stinking. There were many mosquitoes in the room and we found cockroaches in the bathroom. There were two lizards in room. So, it was very risky to keep our luggage and essentials open. It was terrible for me at least. We found less Toiletries in bathroom. We complained about the same at reception but they could not find satisfactory solution.

We had visited SFS Home bridge at Trivandrum for two days as I had a meeting at Infosys, Trivandrum. That hotel was far better than Poovar villa in many manners like Toiletries, Cleanliness, and Hygiene.

We were interested in backwater boating and the Kanyakumari trip. We were discussed the same at the travel desk. They told us that back water boating charges are around 2500. We found that same package in just 1500 INR beside the resort. It was hardly 150 metres away. the boat rider extended half an hour just because it was time for a sunset without any argument or any demand of extra money. We enjoyed a lot and we gave him difference money for his service and humbleness.

We didn’t get any call for the activities we had booked from the club Mahindra application. When we asked about it, we got to know that no such activities (gardening, morning yoga) are there. They told us our manager is changed so many things are changed in resort. No such activities are performed now, might be application was not updated for the same. We were shocked for the same.

One more thing in addition, we were supposed to book bicycle in resort. They told us that it will charge us 500 INR for 30 minutes inside the resort only. It was very laughing moment for us because we had booked two-wheeler only for 500 INR per day while staying in Trivandrum. We travelled whole 2 days in Trivandrum by that two-Wheeler. We get bicycle in 150 INR for whole month in Ahmedabad, too. So, 500 INR for 30 minutes just within the resort area - strange right!!!

We are getting calls for pending ASF fees but we didn’t get any call from club Mahindra regarding our bad reviews which had given after check out. We are getting many calls from Ahmedabad office just for referrals. Now, please explain how can I refer my colleague or family or friend. No, I will never approach them just because my whole experience. Even I am not interested to continue this membership now.

Please look into this whole matter.

as we didn't get any satisfied answer from club Mahindra holidays. I don’t want to continue this membership after this kind of bad experiences. I want my hard-core money back. we already said that You can cut your service charges if any, but return my rest of the money back.
