2009 splash promotion
I have received sms that i have won 700000 pounds in splash 2009.Now they are asking for 625 pounds as courrier fee of my cheque.PLZ help me because the y have given me only one day time.
They also say that they have contacted a high officer of british in INDIA. PLZZZZZZZZZ help soon

It is to have your kind guidence for the whole matter happened with me .
I have also receivedthe same message for winning of 700000 Great British Pound on 27/03/2009 at 12:24am. the message was " Congratulations!!! This is to inform u that your personal cell phone number have won a prize money of 700, 000.00 Great British Pound for the2009 splash promotion organised by Guinness Organization. These number fall with in the England location file You are requested to contact our fiduicary agent in Menchester via e-mail for the claim of your prize money.
Then i send them a related mail that i received such message from you, then in reply they asked my personal details and a scanned ID proof copy. i send them same but afterwards they replied that this wiil be processed by a courier Co.Then i got a mail from courier company and they demand their processing fees of 630 GBP in advance when i refused to pay they didnt reply any more.
I want your kind favour that what this all metter is, is really there any promotion like that, will they provide any wiining prize or they people are only running a fraud or scam to get personal IDs and money by making such stories.
Kindly give your favourable response soon.

Usually some gangsters indulge in such activities to cheat people abroad. Their target is to get 625 pounds from you. Once they get the money towards courier charges, their business is over. You will never get the so called lumpsome lottery money.
Sometimes, you may receive e-mails also seeking your particulars as well along with the promise. In such cases, the mail is not sent to your specific e-mail ID. You will find some others' ID or you will find "undisclosed recipient". On seeing this, you may as well ignore that trash or junk mail and delete from the in-box. This is how you can check the genuiness of the mails you are receiving.
Be careful in dealing with such people.
