My name is Vandana sharma on 25-May- 2007 I got enrolled into an MBA program from ICFAI under enrollment number MBA2095481. My situation went bad and wanted to discontinue the program... on 20-May-2007 i wrote them stating that wont b able to continue this... but they denied stating that u'll have to continue this as I've signed the contract... what contract are we selling education... i am from a very poor family and cannot afford to continue further studies... but who understands... I paid Rs. 10000 as advance payment and for remaining fee I opted for EMI payment of fees of Rs. 4323/month for 18 months. I had one cheques at the time and the sales guy from ICFAI forced me that that particular day was the last date and told me that I can give one cheques for Rs 77,814, as a promise note that i will replace this cheque with 17 cheques for Rs. 4323/month within a month.

This is such a Stupid things in such a Democratic country this things has to be taken care by Hon. Supreme court of India and provide justice to the students and penalized these types of organizations.
ICFAI is the money making fake university. Beware of It.

As you mention to have paid towards program fee but unable to continue further due to personnel financial condition, I suggest you to forward your request justifying the present position. I am sure of consideration, subject certain formalities. |

What you say is correct, that everyone is equal in the eyes of law However, you may write directly to Institute, before resorting to legalities. |
This is regarding the fees and the study material to be sent by the university. I paid the person Rs. 10, 000/- and the remaining as PDC. At that time I had confirmed from him that I need not pay anything other than this. However, after receiveing the payment he is informing me that I have to pay Rs. 1, 000/- extra for each Group Exam I appear as exam fee.
Also regarding the study material he informed me that all the study material for all subjects would be dispatched at equal interval of time. When I did not receive the same I called up the university where they informed me that once I clear one group they would send me the study material for the other group.

| hi same here i am also sufferer of icfai i lost my pc still they want to suck my money i just paid only 7000 instead of 10000 but i gave my 15 post dated cheques and i ve signed all the documents yes we have to put a case in this university i joined for the program of mba-cfa let us make a case to supreme court |

this is to inform you that i have joiined icfai in coming in sweet words of manager of branch. i have paid a lot of amount. this is fraud on name of education. let me out from this frad. if you wanna take admission then beware and never get into it.

| anyone who will read this comment i aware u all that now icfai is a only a source of money for the organiser ..there is some college of icfai they dont have the higher faculties facility and have a third class faculty in the campus ...// no effective soft skill faculty//annnnnnd only placements in insurance sector what is that it is a 12 standard people placementssss plz give awarness to allllllllll who is student of icfai |
| ICFAI University has 1000's alumni students holding key positions in private and public sectors. It should be noted that, If the university is CLOSED or advertised as a BAD university, it will effect all the alumni students who are performing their jobs on the basis of the degree earned from ICFAI University and also the students who are currently enrolled in the university. So, it is better to make some changes in the regulations to tackle the problem with the university. No university is good or bad. When it is bad with you, it looks like university itself is bad. You would have NOT said the university as BAD, if they never asked you to pay the remaining amount. Its the sole responsibility of the student to get full information before joining the university. |
I agree that ICFAI is looting people. They charge huge sum of money and don't provide even support service to students. all they care about is to take fees from students. I have read a comment above where one person is in favour of ICFAI. He should better check his facts first before speaking. Agreed that ICFAI is a deemed university, but what all courses they can offer is the main point of concern. luring people by displaying misleading facts is also a crime but not for these universities because they are doing social work in offering education. what a shame, do ICFAI know what a social work is????
believe me its money making organisation, not concerned with the harrasment of students at all. even if they have to bribe politicians, who allow them to run their business. |

Even I am the victim of this university.I joined the course in the month of september and the one DD of 20 K and 3 EMI of 9750. After that I was unable to carry on the course so I stopped my PDC, now they are forcing me to pay the full amount, I wrote couple of mails but no solution I got from them and now I am forcing by there finance team to give the money immediately. This is rediculous, why should I pay when I am not doing the course.
Is there any body who can giude to how I can get rid of them... |
| My Request pls close this university asap . very pathetic university ... they want only money and they are playing with people career .. they charge very hight amount for Cls n exam fee as well . and very worst thg is tht they take exams every 3 months .. becoz they now the student situation ..pls pls close this university . cancel there permit . |

system, I never believe on checking of subjective paper .
these are very simple paper and getting these type of marks, its crazy, ridiculous and I dont know who the hell is checking and what they
want to see in a case study answer.
A case study answer can be of many type and I wrote it very closely .
It is not first time, its was always on subjective paper, same
approach answer I got passed and same approach answer i got marks very
badley .
University is working simply for money making . |

| Any loan is payable as per EMI schedule as accepted by the borrower. Should you have any issues, you could represent to the Institute itself and seek clarification. Try and highlight reasons and I am sure any Institution of repute accedes to genuine concerns of its prospective. |

It is easy to join bandwagon in pelting stones at others. . May be we need to check facts and introspect on issues a and taking cue from successful students who completed the programs. |
Guys.. its really unfortunate that we somehow at first place took chance with blooody icfai ..
All i want to say is.. dont leave them for nothing.. you will get your money back..
Spread word of mouth that never ever take admissions in ICFAI for any damn course..
