My name is Vandana sharma on 25-May- 2007 I got enrolled into an MBA program from ICFAI under enrollment number MBA2095481. My situation went bad and wanted to discontinue the program... on 20-May-2007 i wrote them stating that wont b able to continue this... but they denied stating that u'll have to continue this as I've signed the contract... what contract are we selling education... i am from a very poor family and cannot afford to continue further studies... but who understands... I paid Rs. 10000 as advance payment and for remaining fee I opted for EMI payment of fees of Rs. 4323/month for 18 months. I had one cheques at the time and the sales guy from ICFAI forced me that that particular day was the last date and told me that I can give one cheques for Rs 77,814, as a promise note that i will replace this cheque with 17 cheques for Rs. 4323/month within a month.

This is such a Stupid things in such a Democratic country this things has to be taken care by Hon. Supreme court of India and provide justice to the students and penalized these types of organizations.

ICFAI is the money making fake university. Beware of It.

I'm also one of the sufferers like you all, suffering because of ICFAI. I'm from PUNE. My case is worse than yours. I
joined in december 2007, by paying 10, 000 and remaining in EMI(18 cheques) I am working with a company and when the news of ICfai Univ (MS Finance) course not being acknowledged by AICTEE came i decided to withdraw. and that is when the harassment began.I clearly informed them not to present my cheque as i have given stop payment for the cheques which I've given. but the sales people said that it would not be an issue and you could do a stop payment of cheques, and now after that they have issued couple of legal notice. I'm seriously thinking of taking this issue to Press. but does any one know of any one in the press this is a serious issue and should be caterred to

i agree with u frnd even me i have been cheated as they have said me they are not providing any of the things that are stated in icfai prospectus and even me waiting for the chance to talk directly two the head quarters and solve my problems and if u have their mail id or their phone no. u plz help me too as these are the people born to fuck and play with students life so i want to get rid of this...

I must tell you'll please dont join ICFAI. They are the biggest cheats i've ever come across. For the guys who are planning for further studies i'd urge you'll to do a regular one. and even if u have to do a correspondence course dont go gor ICFAI. They cheat you your money and you wount be able to withdraw once you join. SO please dont htink of joining ICFAI.

But he told me, you'll have to pay all this Fee & you will not discontinue this program as u signed the bond. This is really fake, and fraud.

Hello,
I stated MS finance course from ICFAI Pune.Becouse of some personal problems i discontinued the course and stopped my all paymets.Then i started to get legal notice from ICFAI, mean time i sent notice to universities, about discontinuation of course and even i tried to get confirmation from them also, but in b/w they stoped sending notice for every payment.
Today i got finall notice from them, mentioing that i have to pay al my net due of 45, 000 along with interest rate @18% for them.
I there any suggetions to get my all payments which ever i had done (30, 000.00).
Can anybody know how i can fight or proceed with the issue and come out of it.

I'm unable to continue the course after completing the 1st year. However the entire money for 2nd year also taken by ICFAI. Now they are not supplying the study material for the balance groups and stated that unless otherwise you complete the previous group, we cannot supply the study materials for the forthcoming groups. What is this?. I'm not getting the material for which I have already paid for it. Better don't go to ICFAI.

hi, guys i m really afraid tht whtever happen 2 the people listed above, but i wana ask single question 2 u tht before admission u all people wouldnt took information about the university, from ur friends or relatives who r studying in tht university, before admssion n any college u people should take adequate information abt the course, bcoz paying all money is burden on u and also on ur parents anyways u all people r much matured to understand all this, but ur complaints tht i have read has made a big doubt abt the university n bcoz i was planning to enroll in inc of nagpur, i ll take each step very arefully, i hope tht u will get ur money back...someone ll really help u on this n if this univresity is fraud they have to pay huge amount 4 this one day n this will come very soon

I really care for your feelings but sorry to say in professional world, if you only care for feelings without being rational, you can't even survive, leave about the growth.

I know that some of you people are in not in right situation because of stress. But first cool your mind and read this. Don't be so excited to reply the comment without even thinking. I am happy to answer all your queries but my first line is "Don't be so sentimental and behave like immature kids..."

I am putting my comments, which you think carefully and then reply. Put yourself in the shoe of an organization.

1. Don't behave like young kids who don't know what is written or can't understand. You had decided to sign the contract without reading it. How many times have you read the details of terms and condition when you are creating an account on free services like yahoo, ebay, etc. You guys are mature enough and legally bound (as you are above 18years) that the decision you make and sign, you have to follow them. If you don't honor the contract, who the hell are you to tell others that this is wrong. If ICFAI helps you and allow dishonoring the contract by considering your issue, it is their social work, but if not, you can't say them fake, wrong. They never do work legally, Finally you are the one, who want to do illegal things by dishonoring any contract and forcing others to do this.

2. About the other case, it is good thing in ICFAI, that they are giving you flexibility in fee payment, and you want to misuse it. You say it wrong because you got the better opportunity and want to leave. Which other college in India and World, gives fee back if you leave the program in between. Take the case of any big college even government college like IIT, IIM. Can you get your money back, say if you leave their program in the middle of the year. You are just misusing this facility so that you are at benefit side always.
If you have committed to honor the Post-dated-cheques as part of your fee, you have to do this. Think, if you are running an organization, and customers do not honor the commitment and all your receivables go into bad debts. How will you survive? Won't you sue them? Say, if somebody commit you on the paper that they will pay you this amount in future, and does not honor then will you happily allow them to not to honor their commitment. Be practical guys, again don't behave like kids.

3. Who did tell you that ICFAI is not a recognized institute by GOI. It is well recognized, even if you know, its runs the best program CFA in India. It is registered with Government of Indian and also approved as Deemed University status.
It is known for its education worldwide. It is the institute, which provide such a reading material, which is even used by institutes like IIMs, ISB, London Business School, Stern and many more prestigious name.

Don't hurt the image of such a prestigious college, which is already very rare in India. Don't you love your country. This is one of the organization, which represents India in abroad and famous for its education, reading material. I sincerely request you guys again, before giving your comments, think twice, thrice, behave like a mature person and then comment on anybody.

Its' true ICFAI Sucks big time. Thats why I went for CFA Program. (USA One) It's always better to trust an outside university than an Indian one (of course IIT and IIM's are exceptions...rest of the colleges exert a brain damaging effect). Unless legal profession is privatised...everything is going to the dogs in India...oops DOG = Indian Politicians (especially Manmohan singh - Lion's share)

Dear friends even iam a student of ICFAI tech Hyderabad They even cheated us they cant provide valid degree and this we came to know after 2 yrs .UGC have given a notice that they cant provide us valid degree or even if they provide us then you cant enter any Govt college or Govt jobs after it
So friends our college have a strength of around 1200 students. We have filed a case against them and in nxt week we will be getting the date of first hearing. We have strong proofs against it Here the Director went on a long leave after getting the UGC notice.
And very soon i will be displaying the diary number which we get from suprem court so that you can check it on internet and find till where we have succeded in our aim
And request to evrybody plz dont be afraid of these bastard they cant do any harm to us .

In this i have asked other peoples and also cheaked the site of tripura it shows that it is a DISTANCE learning program ...
