[Resolved] Abn Amro — Fraudulently debt from Credit Card | |||
Dear Sir, This is with reference that i am a credit card holder of ABN Amro Bank now a part of RBS(Royal Bank of Scotland). On August 30,2009 received a call from ABN amro stating that you have been selected for a gift of watch- 2nos along with various discount coupons for other items. On query the representative of ABN confirmed that an amount of Rs. 9900/- will be debited on receipt of the watches and discount coupons and subsiquently the same amount will be credited after 3-months. I had accepted the offer based on the above confirmation from the representative of ABN amro. But on September 2, 2009 the above deal was cancelled by me after getting enquired from the bank that the said amt of Rs. 9900/- is not refundable means bank has tried to make false commitments to get business. Even after the cancellation of deal bank has debt amt of Rs 9900/- to my Credit card account which after repeated reminders to bank have not been credited resulting the amt as on today becomes Rs 17000/- approx. Now they are harrasing us for the payment and they have not even send any benefit(gifts and vouchers). Request you to please help me to clear the above Credit Card debit.
