[Resolved]  Adept Techno — Training cancel, no refund given

Same thing has happened to me too. I paid 26000 on 25-June, 2011 to one Prithi from their Chennai office for a CSM course.
Until I paid up she called me 4 times a day and responded to my emails immediately. After the course got canceled, i was never informed by her. I kept sending emails and calling these people to get the course venue details and the payment invoice but to no avail. They simply DID NOT respond.

After I called their bangalore office I was told that there is no CSM course scheduled for the dates promised by Prithi.

Then began the long and arduous task of calling and asking for refund everyday. Its been over 45 days now since I have been following up with Prithi (she refuses to provide contact information for anyone else in Adept) but all I have is a cheque with only my first name(which the bank wont accept) for 25,500 which I received 2 days back. Why the 500/- has been deducted is anyones guess!

I am tired of following up and will be going to consumer court and also complaining to PMI for ethical violations by Adept so they lose their R.E.P license also.
