apollo hospital, chennai especially med life hospital at poonamallee high road is the worst treatment i have ever seen done to my friend. I feel that my God should really punish the gyno, Dr.Charumathi.Not even a corporation hospital will do a normal delivery like this female. after 70 days, my friend is still yet to get to recover from an normal delivery. though it was a normal delivery she was given milk after 4 and half hours. the baby was not given food for 4 and half hours too.

and the bill was too much, they had a variety of ranges to calculate a total for adding the bill, what a idea they are very good, it really sucks to see the operation she had made to my friend, now she had to make a surgery to clear the area. Common my God these kind of Doctors is the management recruiting to take the life of human beings.

I agree totally, they put my 4 year old son through so much of crap. They ought to be shut down. And the pediatrician "Deepa Hariharan" i think she is a total .

Such irresponsible comments must be avoided. These are patients with no conscience or brains obviously, and very indecent, probably. Dr Charumathi is a great doctor, very experienced and ethical and humanitarian who has treated all the ladies in my family very well. She sent one of the the babies to Dr Deepa Hariharan who was also very good and has a great reputation. Apollo is doing a great job as my uncle lived after a major accident due to the ICU team there. . If you cannot afford Apollo don't blame it for your own weaknesses!

I agree with Ms Narmada. It is unfair and a dis-service to criticize the work of leading and great doctors and hopsitals because a few patiens were too cynical and negative to understand the services offered. Dr Deepa Hariharan diagnosed a rare disease in my child that many other doctors like Dr Balasubramaniam, Vishwanath etc missed, due to which my child is alive and helathy today. I have heard the same about her from many other patients also.

My husband is operated for synovial chondromatosis (Calcium crystals removal) in right leg(knee) by Dr.Saravanan (ortho) last year in Greams road Apollo. But till date he s suffering a lot. The operation was not done well. Half the crystals remain in the knee. Maybe this doctor is not an expert in it. He could have refused to do it. I dont know why he has taken my husband for granted. He spoke so well, charged Rs.75, 000. But no use.

After two months we found the truth, we have operated his left leg(knee) by an expert Dr.David rajan from Kumaran hospital. He has done an excellent operation. All the crystals in left leg is removed. He has charged only Rs.55, 000. We are greatly indebted to him.

Now after one year we are reoperating his right leg by this expert. Just imagine how much pain it is for us. He has to take rest for two months, do physiotherapy to straighten his leg. How much are we suffering. Its not so easy to bear the pain. God will only have to teach these like Dr.Saravanan(ortho). He s graduated F.R.C.S from London. What s the use. He has used my husband as a test piece. Beware of such doctors. Dont think all doctors in Apollo are experts. There are exceptions. Find the background of this doctors. Finally its we who are at loss.

My own mother went for knee surgery in St Isabel hospital, a killer subramaniyan ( I don’t want to call these guys as doctor ) operated and She got temperature after 10days, an another killer Kannan physician checked, they have done wrong medication and white cells came down less than 500 but they never reveal and finally they said they are following an Jose advice from Appollo, we said why don't we move to Appollo, the moment we said with in one hour idot Jose from Appollo was in Isabel and he said that he can treat but very expensive in Apollo, we said we don’t bother about Money, we need our Mother back to normal, he said he need contact Dermatologist ravichandran in Apollo, he also come in an hour and they promised that they will do bone marrow biopsy and skin biopsy, we admitted her on Saturday and no none turned until Monday, The critical care doctors said Jose and ravichandran will not work on Sundays, Jose said the patient is under ravichandran and ravichandran said The Patient is under jose, no one want to take responsibility, they keep saying how much it cost per day.
Monday jose came, I asked what happened to bone marrow biopsy, he said he is thinking to do, he said on Saturday in isabel that he will do, and he said we need to arrange donor for white cell, and sadly the blood bank works only until 6.00 pm, such a big hospital, blood bank work won’t work out of office hours??????????
On Tuesday they said they are going to dialysis but sadly my MOTHER passed away.
My questions is,
Such a big corporate hospital, Dr rushing to other hospital to transfer, it clearly shows that there is some kind of target set for every doctor.
For critical care Patients why can't they work on Sundays.
Why do they promise that they will do so and so, if the condition is not good they should tell to relatives?
These buggers are money minded, there is no value for life in India.

Management part bad.Cashier cheated my father(72 age).took RS 5400 and gave Recept RS3800. treated Badly with him.But Docs r Excellent.

It really breaks me down to see such a bad comment about the doctors I love the most. As months passed by, I not only expected to see my baby in hand but also waited for my next visit to gynac. Dr.charumathi was such a charming doctor friend. Her smile brings so much of energy. My labour was so easy... I can proudly say that I have enough experience to talk about how good she is at her service.. being a mother of two children And being a women who went through a normal delivery and a c section... Well it didn't end here, my both children are being cared by dr.Deepa Hariharan. I still can't understand how my children respond so well to her treatments... We often tried to step in to the pediac in vicinity for emergency... It never worked out... I give due respect for people out there who had complaints... We have a wrong opinion that doctors are money minded... Nope... Time to change... They sacrifice so much for us.. please acknowledge

I don't agree with senthamilselvi selvarathinam, even though my mother passed away 8 year ago, but the wound still we have, it is completely doctor's fault, again it is proven for Jaya Madam, She was CM, so this can happened to CM what else proof need?

some are may be good but can't acknowledge all of them but most of them are corrupted and hospital management itself is corrupted, when hospital forced the doctors to do malpractice Doctor's suppose to refuse but again all are money minded.
