[Resolved] AutoGas India — CNG Kit | |||
Dear Friends, At this time, when petrol prices are touching sky, every average person think to either buy a diesel car or a petrol car with CNG. For CNG, several things are considered like Price, Quality, Norms etc. I would like to alert to all my friends about such CNG agencies, shops etc. who are not only frauds but has a bad name too in the market. I have come across the same kind of CNG fitting shop keeper who has no value to human life. If you are going to buy a new / old CNG, I would suggest you not to buy the same from MR ARUN BADIA Proprietor of M/S Auto gas India. Plot No 21/2-22/6, sector 17, main road, Gurgaon (India) 122007. Generally our tendency is that quality come with the high prices but “ MR ARUN BADIA” is not only into providing low standard CNG kits but also has poor customer satisfaction. My CNG kit cost me 56000 with guarantee, that there will be no probLem with check engine light, no missing, starting probLem, cng leakage etc. but he has failed to honor even a single commitment. I don’t think that the CNG kit I had from ARUN BADIA has a worth of even 15000 Rs. I did purchase my car “ Cheverolet Beat “in March 2011 and got the CNG kit affixed after six months, till this time, I am not able to drive my car either on CNG or on Petrol as the performance of my car has drastically gone down. Every time, I visit “ ARUN BADIA ” he behaves rudely and not in a position to justify upon the probLems my car has. If you are going to install from him, you definitely will face the same kind of probLem. Rather getting your day to day driving cost lower through CNG, your life will with end up with complete harassment. MY friends, If you love your car, and planning to get the CNG affixed, see twice, thrice, Is the CNG dealer same from whom I got the kit affixed. After seeing many reviews JMD Autogas I decided to get CNG kit from them. When I was looking for JMD Autogas I somehow reached to Autogas center of Mr Arun Badia which on the other side of sector 17. He said they are installing Sequential kits from Italy which are not Lovato now and the cost of kit would be 46k, I trusted him and paid 10k as advance, I asked him to pick my car after two days. After coming back I thought of searching more and realized that I reached at different place, while both are Autogas but the one I was searching was JMD autogas not Autogas only. Looking after these complaints I was scared and on very next day I myself went there. They don't open on Sunday so it was closed. I asked few shopkeepers around his shop and felt comfortable by there feedback, they all appreciated his work. Then on internet I searched more for the ECU they are using (ESGI) and the kit (RAM) and sounds they are genuine parts from Italy.
I went there on Monday morning and left my car for installation, next day evening around 5PM Mr Arun called me and asked to pickup the car. I was very pleased to see my car working excellently and there is almost negligible difference between CNG and petrol. They installed kit under the coolent box where only pressure meter is visible, it doesn't look ugly, fitting and finish was good to.
After filling more GAS I found car was not at all converting to CNG from petrol, immediately I reached to shop again, they were closing shop but opened again for my car check. They investigated for 30 minutes and nothing happened. Mr Arun asked me to come next day.
He said they don't open shop on Dusherra, it's holiday for them but I can come. I reached there around 12, the mechanic changed ECU and replaced with new one, it worked. Arun took car for tuning and brought back in 30 minutes.
Everything working perfect so far. I would say except the cylinder space everything else is same. Performance is good in CNG.
I don't deny, some people might have bad experience in past but somehow it was excellent experience for me.
