Please refer to the above subject
(1) On 07 April'10 while withdrawing cash of Rs. 5000/- from ATM at Barrackpore it
showed transaction failed.
(2) When I tried to withdraw cash of Rs. 5000/- for second time from same ATM then it was
successful transaction.
(3) After cash withdrawal I received an SMS on my mobile phone about my second
transaction through ATM which was successful.
(4) For the first failed transaction no SMS received on my mobile phone.
(5) I was astonished to see on internet banking that for the first failed transaction of
Rs. 5000/- an amount of Rs. 5000/- was debited from my account in addition to
successful transaction of Rs. 5000/- which was also debited from my account.
Following are my queries regarding above mentioned points for your necessary action from your end please :
(1) I have ECS scheme for billing from my same account, in case if ECS comes for
clearance from my account and due to that transaction, which was failed and
amount was debited and because of this if ECS returns back due to insufficient fund then who will be responsible and who will bear the penalty for return of ECS.
(2) Why this amount has not been returned immediately in my account.
(3) Why it is getting delayed i.e reversal of amount of Rs. 5000/- which was debited from my account for failed transaction.
