[Resolved] Bajaj Consumer Finance — Excessive EMI Deducted in spite of Complaint
Respected Sir / Madam, i had purchased a TV, Fridge and Washing Machine from Great Eastern Technocity Kolkata through finance through Bajaj Consumer Finance through their representative Mr. Abhijeet who has a desk at Great Eastern Technocity Kolkata at Sarat Bose Road. He calculated my EMI and other charges and gave us a challan with the EMI as Rs.4809/- per month. 4 EMI's were immediately debited to my credit card and they took a cancelled cheque and a security cheque as i opted for ECS. I was very taken aback when they sent me a pre ECS SMS stating that Rs.5143/- would be deducted towards my Loan Number 4100 CD 00017789 instead of 4809/- I immediately called up Mr.Abhijeet who confirmed that it is a system error and would be taken care of. But that was not the case. Till date 7 EMI's for Rs.5143/- have been deducted and my Final EMI would be deducted on 10th March 2010. Query 1 :Is there any way i can get back the excess money deducted from me? Query 2 :Looking at all the complaints against Bajaj Consumer Finance i am worried that they will continue deducting the EMI's after my Final Installment as well. How can i stop this and ensure my loan has been closed from their end? Query 3 : When will they return my Security Cheque and will they give me some document stating my Loan has been duly cleared? Request your intervention and help for the same as they do not respond nor provide any solution for a grieved customer. Thank you. Was this information helpful?
