[Resolved]  Bangalore Sp Office — Delay in police verification for passport

Im Kumari VandanaI am facing the same problemI have submitted my passport form on 24 february and still waiting for police veriifcation.My husband has already went to USA..

I am Kumari Vandana.I have applied for passport on 24 Feb 2011 and my file no. is BN[protected]..Please do something..Really I am helpless and no one is here to inform when police verification will be initiated..I went several times to nearest police station but they are asking that they didnot get the file from SP office yet...

Police Verification has been initiated. Request has been sent to SP Office, District Bangalore. But it has almost 55days over, and my police verification already finished with local police station, i also contact to the local police, they told they already sent the verification report to you on 11/03/2011, but in Status inquire, still its showing pending .Hence, I request you to kindly take necessary action against the concerned authority and please please please do the needful…….. So that I can get my passport as soon as possible.

It is just stupid and wasting of time. i also face the same problem. every alternative days i go to the nearest station and they say the file has not come. At SP ofice they claim that the PSK has not sent the file and the PSK simply update the file, once the candidate is out of the verification procedure from PSK.
I have applied for my daughter who is supposed to get her admissions in Singapore university during Jul 2011. Now thru Tatkal, we donot get any appointments. this is aslo fake. the server is open at 8.00 am and by 8.5 am the appointments are full. The MEA has to look into this seriously and help out. If there are shortage of staff, we find lost o[censored]nemployed educated youths in our country. Why dont the MEA appoint/contract few of them to overcome this crisis. Also there is no point in writing these comments as the PSK or the MEA is least bothered. I suggest we go in for strike like AH.

I am Arohi Locham from Bangalore. I submitted my application on 12th Dec. 2010. My local police verification was completed in the month of Feb. 2011. Now my application is held-up in SP Office with Passport Office or Local Police Station having no information on how to expedite this. Please advice.

I got police verification done in first week of April, but still my status shows Police Verification Pending, while when I enquired in the local police station (Sadashiv Nagar) they told that they have forwarded my file to SP office. Now why SP office is taking a month to forward a file which is already cleared by the local police officers.
I am in urgent need and even after two months there are no signs of passport dispatch.
Kindly look into the matter

BN[protected].NO police verification wascarried out so far.l made a enquiry at regional passport office koramangala the officers said that the document download in sp office at 29/11/2011.but the hebbagudi police tells that they did not receive any documents to forwarding to sp office bangalore.please speed up the procedures.

I am Narayan Thapa from Bangalore. I applied for fresh passport on 24th October 2011.My file no is BN[protected].My date of birth is 2nd, September, 1984.
Police Verification has been completed on 14-Nov-11 but online status is showing RPO is awaiting for 'clear' police verification report.Two of my younger brothers residing in same address had received passport who applied along with me. Hi guys,

I saw so many people writing there problems regarding police verification for passport here. Is there any proper action taken by the responsive people for all of you ? Even i have the same problem, just had a doubt that, is there any use of putting our comments here or not ?
