[Resolved]  Best Ac Bus Mumbai - As 2 & As 4 — OVER CROWDED

I am consumer of above mentioned AC Bus - AS 2 (Dahisar to Backbay depot) & and AS 4 (Oshiwara depot to Backbay depot). I used to get in at [censored]ladevi Stopage (Mahim). In the morning, during 8.00 A.M. to 9.30 P.M. all the buses coming are over crowded. One could not get a seat before Haji Ali or Pedar Road, however, in most of the days even standing is much more painful. The passengers seated also feels lot of trouble while getting down.

The present frequency of above buses are 25-20 minutes, but most of the times some buses cancelled which aggravate the problem. I suggest / request you to increase the frequency of the above buses particularly in the morning hours at an interval of 10 minutes instead of present 15-20 minutes. Bank — BEST AC Bus No. AS-2

I regulary take a bus fro Goregaon (East) Western Express Highway - Vanrai / MHADA Colony bus stop. This is my routine for last 3 years. On the bus stop it is written that BEST AC Bus No. AS-2 will stop at this stop. However, the drivers & conductors of this bus done seem to bother and dont stop their buses at this bus stop.
I have asked reasons for the same and they say that they are not aware that this is also a stop. The inspectors dont seem to be vothered and hence we have no option left but to complaint.
Pls take a note of this COMPLAINT as this is very srious and affects are timing to reach office.
The AC buses are poorly maintained and do not run properly.

Today I travelled in AS 70 - 7.35 am AC BEST Bus from mira road road station to Nehru Planetrium.

The bus did not have enough gas and it could not pull its AC and overpacked
passengers weight from Dahisar depot only.

The bus driver kept on driving the bus without AC for the whole trip and bus
became very suffocating for passengers.

When I demanded a refund of the ticket, at Malad stop, the conductor and driver

started fighting with me.The driver said that BEST does not allow a replacement bus in case it breaks down on the way.

He also said BEST AC buses are Chinese and they are not suited for mumbai
roads.

He said he was forced to drive such bad vehicles.

The conductor said that BEST does not allow refund to cash passengers and get down at the Depot for refund.

So many passengers got off the bus mid-way without any ticket refund or
they had BEST pass.

The 1 hour journey took 2 hours today. As a result I was late to the office by
45 minutes.

BEST should invest money in repair of these buses also.

It should not allow overloading of the buses by the BEST staff. and allow immediate refund to cash customers.

Otherwise BEST transport deptt. negligence would result in a major
accident and loss of lives in future

I am consumer of bus no. 461 from borivali to mulund.
Today on 04 September 2011, the bus departed at 10:21 from borivali.
The bus was completely empty but it did not stop at the bus stop due to which lot of inconvinence was phased by me & my family.

I boarded the AS4 on 18-Jan-2012 at Mahim at around 6:45pm. I took a seat on the fourth row of the bus.
I then purchased a ticket for the last stop for which i gave a Rs.100 note.
The conductor promptly returned the balance amount and walked away to the back of the bus.

I counted the balance amount and noticed that he had not given me the ticket.
I waited for him to return to the front of the bus. But somehow he returned to the front of the bus only after we had crossed Bandra Talao. Upon seeing him I mentioned that although he had returned exact change he did not give me a ticket.

On hearing this, he started defending himself and accused me of having lied and having lost the ticket.
He was not only rude and humiliating but refused to help the situation.
Finally he said he cannot give me another ticket and in the most unruly manner told me to just be seated.

I presume the conductor thought that I am not an Indian owing to my non-Indian color and features.
But I don't think its right to keep quiet and encourage their unaccounted income for i am an Indian and I am a tax payer.

In this whole argument I managed to note down his badge number. It is W 16817.
It will be very helpful if some body can please help me with the correct email or contact # where I can make an official complaint.
