This is a complain against BIG TV.( Smart Card No.[protected] I bought it in September-2008.After 1 year , i.e. September-2009, I recharged my account with annual package. Since 4th October , there was no signal in TV. I registered a complain for the same. The complain was resolved from their side, without actually providing the resolution to me. My big tv account was auto debited by Rs. 175. I re- logged a fresh complain. This time, Big TV's engineer came . He replaced the Set top box , stating that theres a problem in the set top box. He said I will be charged Rs. 800 from my Big TV account , and since he has replaced the set top box, there won't be any service charge ( Rs 175). The set top box replacement which I got was a second hand CHINESE model with no warranty. I did not get any receipt for the same.
My TV started working. It worked for half a day. Then it went blank again. When I tried customer care, it said my balance is negative.So I need to recharge my account in order to continue service.
Total deductions to get my TV activated = 175+175+800+additional 350=1500
I should have gone for a new connection with a ethical service provider like tata , dish. My mistake , I chose BIG TV. It has harassed me since past 1 week. Don't know how to act. Please look into the matter.
My Issues:
1. Rs 175 per visit for Big TV engineer.
2. Replacement Set Top box( second hand) for Rs 800.
3. Even if they charge Rs 175 per visit, wrong deduction without any visit.
4. Worst customer care . No accountability. Unlimited waiting time.
