Dear, I travel by BMTC bus everyday to work. I have observed some of the conductors do not issue tickets when the passenger destination is near. They just take the money or some amount of the actual price and eating lot of money without issuing the ticket. If suppose they have to issue a 3 rupee ticket, they are taking entire 3 rupees or only 2 rupees and returning 1 rupee. They are not issuing ticket unless asked. This is a serious fraud and causing a major revenue loss to BMTC. I request you to take action to stop such things. Case Study: 30 conductors doing this fraud 20 times a day--- For every instance -- 2 rupees to conductor and 1 rupee to the passenger If the conductor does this 20 times a day 202 = 40 for the conductor 201 = 20 for the passenger(s) Total loss to government -- 60 Like this if minimum of 30 conductors doing the same way in a day 3060 = 1800/day In a month -- 180030=54000 In a year --- 54000*12=6, 48, 000 (~6.5 lacks) Thank you. BMTC — Asked for more than original fare

I was traveling from ITI gate to Lido. I used to give 9Rs as fare. A lady conductor asked for 12Rs as fare. I argued with her telling that i am a regular traveler. But she was not convinced and asked to give 12Rs. I have given the amount and traveled. The bus number is KA01FA 1793. I think the bus was from KR Puram to Majestic. My ticket number is NG 19 501306. This complaint is not for getting my money back, to make these people more concerned about the customers( travelers)

I was traveling from isolation hospital to Hosnat Hospital(stop after trinity circle). I used to give 5Rs as fare. But now a days most of the conducors give ticket fro the extended destination and take more money.I am a regular traveler on this road.
Today the same thing happened with me.

And he took 7rs.
When I asked about the same the conductor said u should have told mayo hall; got down there and go where ever you want.I had to give the amount as i dont have any other choice.
Also conductors take the money and dont give the ticket also.
This thing is happening many times. I am fed of this.
This Has to stopped.

I used to travel from ulsoor to 4th main NGEF Sadanandanagar & usually i was paying a busfare amount of Rs.5/- which is the correct bus-fare to that stage, but, today i.e., on 3/3/09 in MBS 10 Bus-route from Kuvempunagar - Channasandra, bus No.KA-01 2495 the conductor asked for bus fare of Rs.7/- for which i told him that it was too much & i was travelling at bus fare of Rs.5/-, the conductor of that bus told that for past 3yrs he is working in same route & issuing ticket of Rs.7/-, but i have not seen him once also & i told him that u r new to this route & u can ask anyone in the bus & the fare to that stage is 5/- only but he argued with me & asked me to get down in the next stop.

I request you to kindly look into this matter & pls. instruct the new conductors the charges of the fares to each stages & accept the same from the public passenger.

i am sunil i was travel from annapuraesawri nagar to market daily in 242d time 8.15 but from last week that bus was not coming so please take an action and put a new bus to this route. please the do the needful urgently
