[Resolved]  Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board — No grace period given against wrong electricity bill charged by CSEB

I am writing this email on behalf of my father Mr. Ramlal Verma, H/o Late Brijbai Verma

Sub: Excess electricity bill unit charged than average for the month of February 2011
Sir/Madam
I have household connection of CSEB, Service No: [protected]/[protected]. The average billing units are 125-150 for each month for the duration of Feb 2010-Jan 2011. Billing unit for Feb 2011 is 7024 and an exorbitant electricity bill of Rs. 19610 is charged in this Bill.
Hereby I am expressing some details on the billing units for past 1 year;

This is to bring in your kind notice that current meter reading for Feb 2011 is correct but past year i.e 2009 reading were taken incorrect and were flat. I have been paid to CSEB whatsoever electricity bill was received to me.
Financial health of family is not too good and cannot afford to pay Rs.19610 in a single payment. My health is also poor due to age group of 73 years. This has been caused a really mental pressure to all of my family members.
Hereby I request you to kindly provide me sufficient time fame to repay the pending amount in instalments of at least 1 year. Also kindly do not interrupt the electricity supply.

Authorities concerned are not ready to provide me the requested grace period.

In anticipation I am thankfull to you all whomsoever can help me in this time of pain.
