We have a Zest membership (Membership ID:[protected] for Verve season. We are planning for a family holiday and require 3 rooms. While signing up for the membership, we were assured that we can book as many rooms as required if they are available.
But we were given the following response from Sanjeevi (a Zest Agent):
We are glad to know that you are planning a holiday with us. However, at the moment we are unable to confirm your reservation for 3 rooms, as the requested dates falls on Verve season. We would be able to confirm only 2 rooms for the requested dates.
As Verve season members (we have paid a hefty amount for this membership) and have sufficient number of days left - we don't see why we cannot book more than 2 rooms. We had called up for reservations right on the day of reservation opening (3 months prior). We were informed that rooms are available, but they cannot provide more than 2 rooms.
The agent who sold us this membership with several other false promises - a Mr. Kiran Lucas (kiran.[protected]@mahindraholidays.com) promised us that he will personally ensure that 3 rooms are booked at our preferred dates. After a week of postponement assuring that the booking will be confirmed by 1st October, we called up tonight. We were then informed that he will not be able to do anything, we will need to follow up with reservations ourselves. If he had not provided any false promises, we would have escalated this much earlier.
This is one of our many bad experiences with Zest. Our holiday planning is effectively spoilt with this - in addition to losing face with all our relatives who also have confirmed their joining us for this family vacation. We regret having taken this membership.
