Co-operative Society — Social Activity Fees
Till the last quarter our co-operative society was NOT charging 'SOCIAL ACTIVITY FEES' for un-occupied flats. But from June'12 Quarter the society has been charging SOCIAL ACTIVITY FEES OF RS 300 EVEN FOR UN-OCCUPIED FLATS. When i wrote to them that Social activity fees is NOT applicable for un-occupied flats they replied that a decision has been taken in the Managing Committee Meeting and the same has to be paid. Kindly clarify if payment of this fees is mandatory for UN-OCCUPIED flats. Is the said collection legally bound.Kindly clarify mentioning the section clauses applicable so that i can reply to them.
Thanks

I reside in a co-op hsg society comprising of around 9 buildings. I receive a daily water supply of only 5 -10 mins whilst the other bldgs receieve a supply for 30-45 mins. The society members refuse to give any clarity to the cause of the problem & fail to provide any resolution. How can I proceed to seek my right to equal distribution of water supply?
