[Resolved]  Coorg River Touch Resort — Cheats,bad place,fake..

Went there for the night of 18th,19th of May 2012.
I had planned out this place by looking on the web 2 weeks before hand and was taking out my Fiance and my to be In-Laws.
Though my booking was originally for the 19th night only we decided to spend an extra night. We hired a car from Bangalore.
On the way I informed the owner Mr Kiran, whom I was talking to for past 2 weeks. He informed "no-worries come over the place is ready Just For You."

Point to be noted: I had mentioned that I will be travelling with my to-be in-laws and need a decent place,and I was assured. We reached by 4pm, and was advised they are full. Now the only true picture was of the 1 cottage and that's all they have.
They asked Us as its a day before our original booking date so if we could adjust here for the night and next day morning they'll clear it out and send us to the cottage which we were promised. The cottage has a sitting area with TV and 2 bedrooms without fans. The bedrooms are approximately 7 feet by 12 feet in size with single beds in each. The food was decent as we ordered from outside. Now, after freshening up the drama starts.
I see a huge bus with people loaded. All in the sitting area and 2 other cars as well. People coming in and out randomly without permission. Spoke to the lead traveler and he advised "We have booked online a week before and we don't have rooms."
No sign of the owner yet. Finally he arrived and took them somewhere else. Evening without any permission,I find round tables and chairs all set out. Everyone starts to drink and chit chat loudly and the kitchen in our cottage is the only one all around and the head cook is always there along with his side kicks. My Fiance and I had the most uncomfortable and embarrassing moment as we felt God Where Have we Got Them to. The loud noises and chit chats stopped around midnight when the owner and his close pal started to drink outside. We could not lock the main door as their food was there and its a common sitting area. Thus the whole evening my to-be family could not step out into the sit out area cause all were Drunk and not a great crowd.
4 adults had to adjust for the night with 2 single beds and 2 standing fans.
Next morning we set out for Dubare came back went towards Madikere. Did all sight seeing and came back around 8pm,to find that out bags and luggage were out and some other families are there.The sit out area was already a local BAR with more new people.. I was Furious and lost my control. The person (Kiran) said that he will be shifting us to the other cottage. I questioned back " You should have called and informed before touching our luggage and keeping it out as its basic courtesy and hospitality." The reply was astonishing " We have no time: its peak season." Much to our disappointment we set out for the other place,and was assured its a compensation from his end for not being able to provide what we asked for. Only to find out it was a completely different resort called Sipai. It was no doubt much better 2 bedroom cozy room with sit out but no -point as it was already 9:30pm. Next day before leaving the bill came to a steeping Rs 4500/-(it was not worth that), advised it will be taken care of by the River Touch .I Called Kiran and he literally abused Us.Later he did not bother to answer his phone. With no options We had to settle this bill and left for Bangalore.
Oh! And with all this Hulaballoo we left our towels in River Touch,and were advised the guy will come and hand it over,NOTHING!!
Not a place definitely if you are with family. Never felt safe. Will never go and will never recommend.
