Axis Bank — Deducted amount 1000 plus service charge as consolidated charges without notice. | |
I have salaried saving account (A/C No: [protected] )with Axis bank last 5 Months. This month, it is deducting some amount as a service or Consolidated charge without any prior notice. Just think, bank deducted Rs. 1000 plus service charge from account. I think this not fair. if I mentioned less amount in my account, then how much money would be deduct. is there any rule, or as bank mood. Really, I am very disappointed with this bank. Account need to close. They need to provide all the details before deduction. Very bad bank. Was this information helpful? | |

same thing happened with me also .they have deducted 450 rs for consolidation charge.I dont know what is it for?

I also had same experience with the Axis bank. They have debited Rs:2700 on 31-march-2009.
Mine also a salary account and I started it 3 years back. I called the manager and he told that it is for the transactions that I have made for the last quarter. For each online transaction they will debit Rs.50 from account, eventhough the transaction is credit for me. ie, if anyone transafered Rs 10 to my account, then I should pay Rs 50 to the bank.. Strange rules !!!.
I requested them to reverse the money, and they didn't agreed yet.
If the result is not positive, then I will close the account with them.

initially i was not informed about average balance at the time of opening the account.
My account was debited Rs750 plus 10.30% i.e.Rs77.25.I ENQUIRED & CAME TO KNOW Rs10000/-is the average balance & to be maintained as advised by axis bank officials.
i maintained the balance but again on 30.3.09 Rs750 plus 10.30% i.e.Rs77.25 is debited as average balance charges.
i am still unable to know the reson.
IS IT NOT A HARASSMENT OR IN OTHER WORDS PICK POCKETING IN BROAD DAY LIGHT.
Still state bank &other public sector banks are far far better.

People Out there!!Don't ever open an account with axis bank, this is the filthiest bank i have ever come across.coz without my consent they debited 900 bucks from my acc for consolidated charge service i have no clue what is that for .they are real cheaters, who snatch money from ppl.this a extremely corrupted bank. Again i request to the ppl don, t ever sign up with the Axis bank...
