Passport office Hyderabad — DELAY IN RENEWAL OF PASSPORT

My name is Wing Commander N.R.Kumar . I had applied for renewal of my Passport on 30 Apr 08 .

My File No is : F 016122 . I have to go abroad by end of June and inspite of various attempts to know the status of my passport no response so far. Those BSNL numbers given never answered.No one answer the query. For the last 3 weeks status of my Passport on web site shows awaiting Police verification

I do not have any clue how to secure my passport .

Dear Sir,
Kindly update the status of my Passport and let me know when I can expect my Passport. Since 15 days the status is showing that my Passport has been granted, expected to be despatched on 20.06.08. Today is 23rd June, If it is already despatched on 2oth, when I will receive it. I have to go abroad during 2nd week of July, Kindly arrange to issue the renewed Passport as soon as possible.

I had applied for renewal of my passport on 3rd October 2009 and the
relative police enquiry has been completed on 18trh October 2009.
In spite of my follow up with your office, I have not received my passport
duly renewed thus far.

Further, in the Adalat conducted by you in this month, I have presented myself on
the occasion and entreated for expedition of the passport and the
authorities were kind enough to assure that it will be despatched in
a week's time. But I am not fortunate enough to receive it till date.

As I have an emergency to travel abroad now, I would be grateful if
you will please look into the matter personally and help the applicant
who is decrepit in age, in despatching the renewed passport at least
during this week.

Hello Sir/Madam

I have applied for the renewal of my passport on 24th Oct 2009. Now its been 5 months, there is no sign of passport. I have checked that the police report is clear and the online enquiry site has been saying that " It is regret that due to unvaoidable circumstances the despatch of the passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time". I am seeing the same message for the last 1 month.

I am also attaching the latest status on the enquiry site.

Regional Passport Office Hyderabad — DELAY IN RENEWAL OF PASSPORT

I applied for the renewal of my passport on February 02, 2010 (File No. HYD-F 003759/10) and the police verification was done, RPO website confirms the clearance of police verification and stated passport is expected to be dispatched by[protected]. However, since third week of March, I see the message on the RPO website which says: It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the dispatch of passport has been delayed and will now be dispatched in a weeks’ time. I request the authorities concerned to look into the matter and dispatch the passport at the earliest.

Dear Sir,

I would like to bring to the notice of my anguish and RPO's apathy through your esteem column with regards to non-receipt of Renewed passport despite getting a Clear status for Police department. I have mailed to Hyderabad RPO couple of times and there is no reply. The last updated status -POLICE REPORT HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED in the official website is on 08.04.2010.
