DEV MOGRA GAS SERVICE — Forced to purchase other product

Dear Sir,

I have recently transferred my Bharat Gas from Pune to Mumbai - Mira Road. The Distributors of Bharat Gas in Mira Road, Mumbai, M/s Dev Mogra Gas Service has forced me to purchase one tea leave packet of 500 grms of other co. at Rs. 72/-, while I have gone there to register my name and to take gas cylinder and regulator.

When I disagree to purchase tea leave from them they refused me to give the gas cylinder and regulator. According to them it is a govt. scheme and I am bound to purchase the same / they are bound to sell the same.

I do not believe that the govt. will be having such kind of scheme to force the customer to purchase some product of other co. It could be an optional and offer to purchase some thing on lesser prize. I also tried to communicate the distributor that I do not have the capacity to spend Rs. 72 on 500 grms tea-leave packet when I spend Rs. 50/- on same product of the other co. But the distributor was not ready to convince and forced me to purchase the same product.

I just want to know whether Govt. is really having such scheme. If not, can I have the justice?

I heard about this, dont think so any action has been taken yet.

and one another that they didnt recieve any call from there consumer if they need to book Cylinder.
i tried from last few days always ringing no responce from other side,
and when i went to there and ask them
"why dont you pickup the phone, they answered "stock kam hai, isliye nahi uthate" (bloody hell)

always they r doing the same.

is this call services?
why they distribute phone numbers if they dont want to recieve it ?
why distributer did not take any serious action against there staff ?

people used there vehicle or hire it to take there empty Cylinder to there Offices for filled Cylinder, is this services?

I Hope that govt will take some action by sending there Vigilance,

I am also facing the same problem of very poor service. I have taken a new connection on 24th Nov 2009. And receioved the whole kit ie gas stove, lighter, regulator and Appron, cylinder. In lighter packing there was a warrnaty of 6 months. After 10 days lighter stopped working so I have tried so many times to call them but nobodys was taking the call after 4-5 days of continuous calling when I able to talk with their staff then she clearly told me that there is no warranty on gas lighter. Today when I asked for refill booking number after cylinder booking they they told me that there is no such consumer number so we are not able to provide you refill booking number.

Pls suggest what to do?
ye i agree with your compalin. Also i trying to get in touch with the comapny from last 2 week, but the mtnl no's are constantly busy.

yes above all the comments i agree this dev mogra agency staff always behave like this only
if we want to book a cylender & we call their office they never answer the calls.atleast its take 1 week to answer our calls.This is not done.after paying money if get in retrun such service there is no use.

They never answer our calls, so we have to there & book our cylender.& this people said it will take 3-4 days, but their 3-4 days will never comes.we have to follow up everyday.
I have booked the 20days back. Till today i have not received the gas cylinder inspite of repeated call.

I request to the Govt. or Bharat Gas Kindly cancel the distrubution to any other distributor. This is my humble request
