I am an investor with Dhanus Technologies holding 2221 shares. The company had announced allocation of bonus shares at the rate of 12 shares for every 5 shares, on Sep 2, 2011, and the scrip value which was around Rs 13 came down to around Rs 3, on the same day, factoring in these bonus shares. However as of today no allocation has been done and on ringing up the company the standard response is `we are awaiting NSE approval'.
Now the question is how come the scrip corrected by such a huge margin in one day(almost 70 percent) when no approval has been granted by NSE, since the company is also listed with the NSE too?? I would appreciate if SEBI seriously look in to this and take suitable action at the earliest. As you are aware people like me are stuck up with these shares and is no position to exit as the invested amount has corrected by more than 70 percent on the day of announcement. This is causing a lot of mental anguish.
