Dear Ladies,
for your kind information, i would like to tell you one thing that reservation for ladies is allowed only when bus is not started, when it start and move from the first stop, ladies seat are not reserved for the ladies but it is considered the common seat as per the DTC charter.

In a free country where equality is the key value, why these double standards. The claim that men try to misbehave if a woman is standing is totally baseless. Are male secondary citizens of the country that they have to avoid empty seats in buses just because some stupid lady is too delicate to stand. Do they stand when the bus is not crowded but seats are not available. Bloody hypocrites ! Typical Indian !
Its high time we stopped reserving anything based on gender. I don't mind converting those seats reserved for women into handicapped / pregnant women / women carrying babies/ senior citizens. If you can compete in sports and corporate events, you can certainly stand for some time in bus.

I would like to tell about Dtc Drivers are not keeping their duty properly.
Yesterday(4 august 2010) I was standing oon Mool chand bus stop at 9 o clock.
The Bus no- DL-1P2-7049 bus was coming, But Driver didnt stop the bus of Mool chand stand. After 10 mint I caught him At Chirag Delhi Bus Stop and i asked him why you didnt stop but there so he pretend there were crowd, and more bus coming behind his bus...Actual sir these people are not doing their job properly.Give him Punishment...
for future they won't do like this work...

In my opinion there is no provision to stop bus if all seats of bus are already occupied. If all seats are occupied and passenger trevels against authorisiation, as per trafic rules, challan can be imposed on said bus.
2. In the same way when challan can be imposed on full seated bus than how a female can travel and ask for seat reservation.

Dear Sir,
Bus route No. 578 Najafgarh to Safdarjang/CGO is full of crowed. But on single low floor bus is being run on this route. Public facing very difficulty and reaching offices lately.
2. Please permit some low floor AC and non AC buses on said route. It is very benificial for booth DTC and public.

Our route no. 827 & 828 buses not good services at night. Mostly buses are going to 887(Ghuman Hera Depot) . After depot our village distance is more than 3 km. We have lots of problem to reach our village. In Morning and evening time dtc buses survice is very short. Please help us. This is not my problem. After the depot 4 villages are left. They have lots of problem for without buses. Please help us. Myself Rajneesh.

Dear ladies as above mr.jagbir kaushik and shah Nawaz Siddiqui allready told about the rule of reservation for ladies in DTC buses. they are correct.The reservation is cancled after the starting point to 3rd stop.After 3rd stop it was cancelled and considered as comman seet.ok
And miss sweta dont blame on the conducter bcoz he has allready a resevered seet and he dont need to occupy other seets.and dear try to politly ask to the conductor, "is that resevered for us means women after 3rd stopes.and he would help u...

DTC buses — NO BUS SERVICE FOA A HOUR DAILY
Dear FriendsThere is no DTC bus service from ROHINI TO DARIYAPUR KALAN ( 6:50 am to 7:55 am ) . Its our public transport.

DTC buses — Ladies reservation seat interstate/state buses
Sir,This is regarding seat reservation for ladies in DTC interstate/state buses. .
The rule says that the seat has to be vacated by any male passenger sitting in the seat reserved for ladies when there are any women passengers who ask for the same. But this does not happen at all. I travel daily from Karol Bagh Delhi to IFFCO Chowk Gurgaon and whenever I ask male passengers to vacate the seat, their usual reply is that, there is no reservation for ladies seat in inter state transport. This is in spite of the fact that there are seats clearly marked for ‘Ladies’.
I have in fact told some of the male passengers that they should at least leave the seat till the toll bridge. Once Haryana starts then they can occupy them again. But they don’t even listen to this.
Almost all seats are occupied by men and the conductors too, do not support women in getting seats. Its not that we ladies do not want to stand. It’s just that when the bus is crowded, men try and take advantage to misbehave and therefore for safety reasons women should get a seat as much as possible.
Request you to look into the same and implement this strictly on all the interstate/state buses.
