Faulty cables have caused a lot of hardship this summer with power cuts ranging from 24-48 hours continuously since last month. The Electricity board fixes the cables but since the cables are very old they cannot be repaired properly...so after a few days they give way and we suffer again. Instead of laying new cables they just say they cannot do anything and if we want a permanent solution, we are asked to buy the cables ourselves. Doesn't the electricity board have enough money to even buy its own cables?
