[Resolved]  Electricity supply — MSEDCL (Mumbra ) Disconnection of common Electricity without Notice

Sub: Disconnection of Common Electricity in the Building 33A by MSEDC Mumbra

The MSEDC has disconnected our Common Electricity last week on dated 18.12.09, without any prior notice. This is due to the pending electricity bill as understood from them. This has happened earlier also in the month of May & July 09, when they had disconnected the electircity without notice, and at that time we had paid around Rs. 40000/-.

Now the pending bill is to the tune of around 1.45 lacs.

The Issue here is the so called Secretary of our Society Mr. Ganesh Manik Pawar, is misusing his powers to harass the innocent members of the society, by using his connections with MSEDC peoples. The MSEDC Officers disconnect the power, on his instruction as understood.

We have 2 Phases for supply of electricity, Phase1 is for common passage and Phase 2 is for Lift and Water Motor. On 18.12.09 the MSEDC people had cut both the phase supply, but the strange thing we have noticed here is the supply for Phase 1 of common passage was restored on 22.12.09, without any payment of bill. This is a question mark ?? as how the electricity is restored without any request from our end. This shows a sign of corruption going on around the system.

We had initiated action against Mr. Ganesh Pawar in the Registrar of Societies due to misappropriation of funds by him and to this effect our society is dissolved by the registrar w.e.f 16.10.09. Now the society is under administrator, who has still to take charge of the society.

Due to power cut, we are not getting water for last 1 week, and we have to borrow water from other buildings. We are suffering badly due to this problem created by Mr. Ganesh Pawar with the help of MSEDC peoples. One thing need to be noted here is Mr. Pawar is getting water due to illegal connection by him directly through the storage tank at the ground.

We request to look into the matter and solve the problem. We would like to request the MSEDC (Mumbra) to restore the power of our building, and give us sometime for payment of the bill. We would pay the electricity bill once our problem is resolved, which is expected to be completed at the earliest.

We hope you will investigate the matter and if found guilty, then take stern action against the corrupt officers and resolve the electricity issue for our building.
