1. The Region Code is a Commercial Compliance laid down by the DVD Association and Patent body, and it is nowhere stipulated or laid down legally by any Public Bodies, Government or Government Bodies.

2. The product you purchased (i.e. Ice Age 2 DVD) clearly mentions at the back (printed on both the sleeve and outer cover) that it is a Region 3 DVD and hence the onus of selecting the right product for yourself is entirely on you.

As standard practice, we offer a full money back guarantee or replacement against manufacturing defects across all the products we distribute in India.

Since this isn't a manufacturing defect but we understand that you are unable to enjoy the product now, and despite of you having made a purchase in full awareness- we would be happy to give you a replacement or refund if needed.

Excel Home Videos — Game not working and money not refunded

I ha bought an EA game called Medal of Honor Airborne . I would like to say that the game is not working properly and is showing some kind of fatal error.It has a money back garauntee with it.I suggest the company looks into this matter as the phone operators are never available.I have the bill of the place from which I had bought it. Please do look into this matter.

I completely agree with Sachin, the region codes are printed in the DVD cover as well as on the DVD itself.
excel DVDs are either coded in Region 2, 3 or 5 and they play well in region free DVD playes.

Excel home videos are undoubtedly the best in our country. Having said that, I want to mention that recently I had a bad experience with excel DVDs. After purchasing 007 ultimate edition DVD set (all bond movies), I found that 1/4th of the movie titles has special edition DVD instead o[censored]ltimate editions... this is not acceptable at all.

Don't know whether I can get them replaced by the ultimate edition DVDs or noy.

This week i bought James Cameron DVD set consisting of 3 movies titled Titanic, Abyss and Aliens from Flipkart. Distributor of it is Excel Home videos and to my surprise all the DVDs were encoded with wrong DVD region code. The said information was never brought on record either by Flipkart or Excel Home Videos.

i have bought excel home video DVDs sleeping with the enemy and how to marry a millionaire at crosswords bangaluru airport, both of them give error"wrong region" on loading them in Philips DVD player. kindly replace them or refund them.
