On Jan 18, 2009 I received another Mail from above Mailing Address Comprising Appointment Letter into Aminex Petroleum Services Ltd Addressed by Mr. David Hooper. In the Mail I was asked to contact Mr. Luke Scott fellow Diplomat in British High Commission, New Delhi, India to Process Immigration and UK VISA.
I Contacted Mr. Luke Scott. Diplomat in British High Commission, New Delhi on Mailing Address ([protected]@ukembassyvisadepartment.co.uk) regarding the process of Immigration and UK VISA on Jan 19, 2009. On the Same Day, I received Mail from Mr. Luke Scott asking Cash to Bank Account of 150 Pounds (12000 Rs.) as VISA Registration Fee and Immigration Charges to credit the amount in the following Account who is the Incharge of VISA Registration and Immigration Approval for Immediate Processing.

On the following recession I doubted certain things happening round in this process. I too got an job offer intimation from AMINEX. I belive it is 100% fake because
1. They sent the intimation from a third pary email domain, ie www.walla.com
2. Their web page is made in such a pleasing way to present that the company is there. But the way the web site is made created lot of doubts. The web page gives importance only to employment options. Normally company's post web site to promote their business. In this case, they don't want to promote anything much on petroleium side. They concentrated more on job offers.
3. the web page also shows links to share with friend. A business firm web page normally don't do this.
4. The job options givem also revels the money you can earn. relaibale employesr never do such disclousers.
I have similar experience & On that occassions I approched respective embassy's to validtae it & they also stated it as fake.
So I recommend you not to give any reply to such emails. The company is truly fake.

I agree with it and I have also received the same email. All such petroleum related companies are fake. Moreover, if the email is not from the domain of the company and is from gmail or yahoo etc, it shows that the things are fishy.
We should not even bother to open such emails and just press delete.
Pl note any email from Nigeria or any job offer from Nigeria is fake.
I personally have been suffered by a Nigerian Company, known as MUBECO PETROLEUM COMPANY LIMITED. The MD is ex-Senator Musa Bello and is totally fake.
We have to authenticate before we reveal any of our personal details.

Same thing happens with me but remember there is no such procedure to appoint any employee in any part of the world just on the basis of resume. so, don't ever disclose even your testimonials these fake people can misuse them.

i have also received the same email from aminex & i have paid 150 pounds to luke scott as visa & immigration fee to the given account. further he told to pay 600 pounds to the another axis bank acount but after many verifications i have found that he is a scammer & i have also find out this couligue's name & no. he is Mr. Bockler. now after all this he is not returning my moy, so dear friends tell me what to do & how to get the money back from him as i m going to saudi arabia for my job by feb. end.

I too got a mail from aminexoil london saying that i am appointed as an accountant in their company.. further they said to contact their diplomate steav cleff for visa formalities and visa fees his number is [protected] here in india . In the mail steav is saying that i must join the office there in london on 16th of march ..please help me how can i collect the right information regarding my appointment in the said company.I am in a fix what to do or not to do..my email id is [protected]@yahoo.co.in
I GOT A APPOINTMENT LETTER FROM AMINED OIL, UK COMPANY. PL FIND ATTACHED LETTER. PL CONFIRM AND THE COMMUNICATION IS AS FOLLOWS

THEN THEY SENT APPOINTMENT LETTER AFTER 10 DAYS SAYING THAT I HAVE TO CONTACT UK EMBASSY DIPLOMAT IN DELHI (MR.LUKE SCOT).I CONTACTED LUKE AND TOLD ME TO SEND MY APPOINTMENT LETTER.I SENT APPOINTMENT LETTER TO LUKE IN DELHI.DIPLOMAT MRLUKE GIVEN CONTACT NO GIVEN AS 91-[protected]
MR.LUKE KEPT MAIL SAYING TO DEPOSIT CASH OF RS 12000 AS VISA REGISTRATION FEE AND TOLD TO SEND RECEIPT OF CASH
I CALLED YESTERDAY TO AMENIX IN LONDON(TO CONTACT NO [protected],[protected] AND SPOKEN WITH MR.ROBERT WHO HAS SENT APPOINTMENT LETTER. HE CHECKED MY NAME AND TOLD THAT IT IS CONFIRMED.I SENT ONE MAIL IN ENQUIRY FORM OF AMENIX FOR CONFIRMATION AND I GOT REPLY POSITIVE.
PL CONFIRM WHETHER MY APPOINTMENT LETTER IS TRUE OR FAKE SO THAT I CAN DECIDE FOR FURTHER AND TIME IS GIVEN AS 25 JAN – 09 TO JOIN THERE IF THE TGINGS ARE TRUE.
