[Resolved]  FURNITURE MALL sign THANE — Cheated the client by changing the fabric material used for final finish of the sofa

Furniture Mall @ Thane is a big FRAUD company...I visited an exhibition at Bandra Kurla Complex on 07/02/2010...there was one stall of Furniture Mall too....one of the sofa displayed there interested me...i spoke to Mr. Hitesh who convinced me in all the possible ways to buy a sofa set as per my requirements(4seater +1 +1 single seater)....the model is I-10 with custom choice for the material to be used as the cushion....i chose CF Regal-634 as my cushion fabric for the bottom,back and side portion of the sofa...the order form no. is T-76..and the delivery was promised within 10 days after the initial payment(advance)...i got a call from one of the employees called Mr.Anwar on 3rd week of february....since i was busy with my office works he mislead me with some conversation regarding the finishing material on the sofa to which i unknowingly agreed...then to my surprise on 23/02/2010, i found that the design of the sofa was the same but he changed the finishing material with some other fabric of his own choice(that matched with the fabric used in pillows for the sofa).....i immediately sent it back since the sofa was not made as was promised earlier...i had a conversation with Mr. Anwar as well after this and i finally decided to personally visit their shop at malad(linking road)...I met Mr. Anwar at his showroom who spoke to me and blamed me directly for all the flaw that had occured...but the truth is that they themselves have changed the materials without the customers concern...he also denied me visiting their factory where actually all the FRAUD process take's off...this employee speaking to me had no manners at all for which he passed comments in hindi language like.."customer ho karke bhi nahi dekhunga" and "tumne kabhi zindagi mein sofa liya hai kya?"....this was what i could actually hear from their side...to my disguise all that has happened is a great mishap for me at the moment....but would be a tragedy for this "Furniture Mall" who tries to cheat consumers like us very easily...now i have just returned my sofa in their shop and i have given them two days time to replace the material with the original one's which i chose while customising my furniture...for which he asked me 5200 rupees as extra cost for such works....i totally disagree with this kind of behaviour and would want the help of our country's constitution which has something to make this fraud people learn some lesson...i hope there are many such people like me waiting with some hope and i believe i won't be ignored as far as consumer complaints are concerned....

Same thing done with us. i agree with u.
yaa...what should we do..??..is there any way out to punish such cheaters.???..i dont understand the purpose of this website...why is there no action being taken...is the govt. not listening to our complains...?
