[Resolved]  Gini & Jony — Refusal for Exchange of Garments Within Time Limit

I purchased garments worth Rs 7092/-, after discount Rs4255/- from company's outlet at Jorhat on 24 Jan 2011. I stay 200 km away at Tezpur, I purchased these clothes during my visit to Jorhat.Since my kids stay at Tezpur, I discussed with proproiter in case clothes don't fit well I will exchange them to which he agreed. On 02 Feb 2011 on my next visit to Jorhat I went to exchange the garments the staff refused to do so, saying that exchange is not allowed for items purchased on sale and that the owner was away from the town so staff were not competent take this decision. I again tried to convince them on 03 Feb 2011 without any success, this time I spoke to owner of shop who was away from town, she gave a number of excuses for not carrying out exchange.I thought to speak to company, but then I found this forum. It may be noted that the cash memo reads that "Exchange within 15 days, No refunds".
