[Resolved]  Green Trends Beauty Salon — wrong billing/ terrible service

Green Trends is filled with untrained and unprofessional workers.

Last month, In the Mylapore branch, halfway through my treatments, the manager asked me to wait for some time so that the lady who was attending to me could attend to another customer.

In the Velachery branch, the first time, they refused to finish the services I had asked for because it was closing time. How can they close without attending to the customers already present? The second time, they billed me double rates, i.e. separately for hair wash and blow dry, when the rate card clearly mentioned a single rate for washing conditioning and drying together. (And they didn't even do the conditioning). When I pointed this out to them, they made me a second bill, again charging me extra for washing and drying long hair (when my hair is only neck length). When I pointed this out to them, they argued saying the rate card was for "different styling" (whatever that means). So even after my pointing out their mistakes they did not agree that they had made a mistake.

I walked out and never will go back to this salon again.

The people working there are untrained. They don't know the rates of the services offered. They don't offer to find out the rates for a customer. They don't even bother to refer to their rate card before billing. They give customers wrong bills. And then they give me a wrong bill for the second time because they can't even judge the length of the customer's hair.

I don't really know why people who don't know to do all of this properly are even working in a salon, that too, a salon that is part of a major business group, (Cavinkare i think).

Please Green Trends, please shut down and give us all a break.

i got a hair cut from trendz at rani bagh for rs500 n these ppl didnt evn gave me a bill n also i m left with split ends....... i went for an emo cut on 6 june 2010. thank you.

I also had a similar experience, though it was not financial. I had fixed appointment with Green Trends Velachery, and was late by about half hour, I called up the receptionist if i may come, he asked me to come immediately. I did the same, as my husband also had an appointment, it was convenient.
When I reached salon, the receptionist asked me to wait and told me that, my appointment for henna and deep conditioning was with a particular service provider, and she was busy with some other customer, and that it will take another half hour for her to get out of it. I told no problem, i will wait. But no, they offered me another operator after a lot of discussion.
This was my first hair care appointment with green trends, all my prev exp were with Lakme. I dont allow anybody to touch my hair that easily, coz it is long and tough to handle for freshers. The receptionist told that this other gal is very good, so i accepted. But, this gal was sooo inexperienced, she did a very abd job of piling my hair up after applying henna, and I was asked to wait for nealy 2.5 hours, where as I specifically told her that i have to leave early so 2 hours will do. And after while shapooing and washing of henna, she pulled my hair so hard that it hurt like crazy, I started rregretting my visit at a point. I should have gone to Lakme. She does a very good job.
When it came to billing, i told that guy that she did a very bad job and that it was your mistake, that you chose an inexperienced person for me, he just blinked back and consulted another gal, and charged the bill on time.
The effect of this service? I am forced to go in for another henna session this week, though it has just been 3 weeks since i got henna done. I dint know that it belongs to calvinkare until i read this review. Very bad.
I also would like to share my bad experience happened to me and my kid in Green Trends - Virugambakkam. We just shifted to Virugambakkam and earlier i should to go to Green Trends - Arumbakkam. Thinking that this branch in Virugumbakkam will also be gud, i took my kid for a hair cut. My daughter (3 yrs old) had a good straight pop style hair and i wanted to have a small trim that too in particular in the forehead. I insisted clearly not to reduce the length of the hair...Oooops...they didnt have any idea for what they were doing and the hair dresser (Ms. Chithra) completely spoiled my daughter's hair. It was neither a boy cut kind of hair style, nor the one i wanted...Finally they called a male hair stylist and he did a even more shorter hair style for her...My daughter's whole look got changed, not in the better way, but in the worst way. The female hair dresser never apologized for her mistake.

Another occasion was a simple eyebrow threading for me and they made me look like a villi in the movies. One side of the eyebrow was made too thin, and to balance that the other side was also made horribly thin. When i asked about that, the service provider kept arguing with me and never accepted her fault. Even on explaining to her, she was very strong on what she did and said it looks gud only...Not even a sorry...People in Green trends don't know manners and always think they are superior...They never apologize...Green Trends - Virugambakkam provides a worst service...Beware!!

trendz — UNSATISFACTORY SERVICE

dear sir,
i booked a package for guwahati..shillong .....and paid for delux room for hotels in shillong & also paid for river cruise in river brahmaputra.....but the tour agent ,DTRENDZ ,....provided me small hotel rooms which were not at all delux catagory.......even,not arranged the river cruise.

this agent frequently participates in travel fairs in kolkata .......beware of them
I too had a bad experience with Green trend royapuram, an untrained worker attended me in the other local people do.
Worst service always at green trends... went for hair straightening... they did never do a complete strghtning... thn went for 2 nd tym...even dat was bad... hair bcam cmpltly dry...gave a complaint by dirctlt wakin in... but the franchaise head there saud to cut my hair which got damagd.. ( which rhey have burnt cmpltly) and did not give a solution 4 this...worst salon
I went for hair cut, eyebrow, upper lip n chin threading and fruit facial at Green Trends, KK Nagar, Chennai today. The service I got was atrocious! First, they never did a god job of hair cutting...they left hair so uneven...very amateurish and totally inconsistent with the professional image they project. The fruit facial was a total farce! They made a paste of two bananas and applied it on my face!! And the billing was Rs.1073/-, Rs.625/- for the facial alone!! I've had fruit facial done at other reputed salons in Bangalore. There they use a mix of various fruits and do a good job. My experience with Green Trends today has left me with a strong conviction - NEVER GO TO GREEN TRENDS AGAIN!!

because the managing person doesnt have any knowledge in beauty services.whenever we enquired about services she asks to her megalaya staffs and replied . am done hair straightening there, the megalaya girls pulled my hair always they dont know the value of hair very bad experience, and the other staffs who were in local area(nagercoil).they were stupib talking rude about customers... dnt go to green trends nagercoil

My friend and me went for blow drying in Green Trendz. She had the hair wash and blow dry where as I asked them only to set my hair..Just to look neat. They charged 400*2 = 800 stating that 2 blow dry was done. WTF!
Again, for saree draping, they made my friend stand for nearly 2 hrs..Man..you should have seen the way they tied the saree(twice she tied it)..it was horrible. I had to re-tie it for her when we went to the Mandapam.:@
Adding more..when my sister went for hair spa, they charged her for long hair but my sister has only medium hair. We had to fight with the guys over there to make them understand ENGLISH and what is meant by long hair...
Anyways, pls dont go there... your energy and time and money will be wasted. I am fedup of fighting with these guys!

The worst Salon I have ever gone is Green Trends - Porur.
It has very poor service, They don't even care to respond to you. Service providers there, give services only to their clients they don't care about others who are coming new. After waiting for so long time I came out with doing nothing. So please don't waste your time going there especially to Porur Green Trends.
We had been for green trends at Banashankari Branch of Green Trends with prior appointment. Its very unfortunate that although the website claims Green Trends to provide professional service none of the people present found to be professional, even the manager running the show there. First of all they do not have a note pad noting the customers service request. After sending the customer inside the service personnel asks what service we want showing communication errors between receptionist and service personnel. Second no service is provided professionally when questioned gives arrogant answers (showing their unprofessional attitude). I will never ever visit the green trends again. Hope the chairman asks HR to recruit persons having customer oriented attitude and service oriented persons. Very Bad Experience at Green Trends, Banashankari Branch, Bangalore.
Regular customers of Indiranagar green trends especially for my daughter's hair cuts. They have hiked the price almost more than double. Greens trends were not the best but true very economical. There are so many better parlour for the same cost they stand no chance. The child hair cut this time for quite a shabby one.

I had a harrowing experience at Green Trends in Nelson Manickam Road. The owner is a DAMNED cheat.
This is my mail to Green Trends head office, and there has been no resolution so far! This happened on October 19th 2014.

I walked in to your NELSON MANICKAM ROAD, AMINJIKARAI salon in Chennai today evening. The services I availed are :
Hair wash and blow dry - straight
Eyebrows, forehead, chin, and upperlip threading.
I usually avail these services every week. I have medium length hair.I was a regular and I absolutely loved the services the staff give - very very professional and extremely friendly staff.
I have a membership card as well. The number is[protected]
Usually I get charged Rs. 400 for a hair wash and blow dry - ALTHOUGH my hair is MEDIUM length. I have never complained about it.
However one visit 3 weeks ago, the owner charged me Rs. 500 for the same service of hair wash and blow dry.
On being asked why, she said 'rates have gone up'.
2 weeks ago, when I went in for a facial and hair wash and blow dry, she tried to charge me Rs.500 for the hair wash. But I had seen the rate card, and pointed out decently that it read Rs. 400 only. When I said that she did charge me Rs. 400 only.
Last week she was not at the salon, and her staff charged me Rs. 400 only.
Today however, when she tried to charge me Rs. 500, I directly confronted her, asking her why the differential pricing.
She told me that my hair is voluminous.
Now, I agree I have thick hair, but it is medium length. It is NOT long. As it is I pay about 70 rupees extra because she always charges me Rs.400 which is for long hair shampoo and blow dry.
On further confrontation, she kept arguing that other salons also do this differential pricing. She also gave me a breakup of the services, which was fine.
However, what snapped me was when she said she does not make profit, and barely breaks even. She had the AUDACITY to tell me that she does want a business running on loss, and that she had no way out but overcharge. On telling her I will complain to the head office, she said "the head office is aware that all franchisees are making very less, you call them and complain, I'll talk to them"
So at the end, she said she'll waive me a Rs.100 for the overcharge she did two weeks ago, but SHE WILL CHARGE me Rs.500 from now on for the same service. So today my bill was 461 for all the services (minus the Rs.100 she overcharged me for). I did not want the Rs.100 waiver, but she would not charge me more that Rs. 461. My original bill was Rs.561 for the hair wash and blow dry, and all the threading.

So, tell me Green Trends, because your franchisees don't make enough money, is it right for them to CHEAT members like me? Is that the ethics of your company? I am absolutely disgusted, and I can tell I am never going back to that salon.
COULD YOU TAKE SOME ACTION?
Velacheri Green Trends, Very pethatic service for basic eye brow threading, they never do in the correct shape, it made us to look very odd.
I started doing it in small Parlours after having very bad experience with Velacherry branch.
hello the service u offer is gud but...ur staff highheaded...to interfeing in personal talks of client and
god their mouth stink...dirty sweat smell...cleanness in parlour is zero ...this happening in banashankri branch blore
near bda complex...parlour is not so spucious but crowd just pour in why donot u shfit to bigger palce for clean
presentable atomsphere...toilets also just stink staff and client have to use same toilet yuk...u charge so much why u can not
have seperate toilets...basin to wash women hair is just one god for so much crowd in weekend it is like fair there...if at all
u ask them on Ac finish the staff yells at u as if they act as if they doing charity for us...why are u charging us rite...govt also as made rules i[censored]se Ac can charge us rite...no ventaltion also no AC how u expect us to exist till service is over so better look into matter shifit it to near by bigger palce or shut down

I just want to add my words on green trends.

i went for a hair cut and came out with a baby cut. i have asked the person, what is this and i was answered, we will try next time.
The person who is sitting in the reception also doesn't deserve the place.

I clearly said just cut my hair in medium, he said sure and did a light cut. At that time, again i have clearly said please cut some more. He said he is shaping the hair for a hair cut as i have asked and Final out put is baby cut and told as you have long hair, if i cut to the medium, it will not suit you. I felt amazing and came out of green trendz and came to conclusion that, its better to go to the saloon and get the hair cut by the person who is cutting from months/year.

Also, i am in still in a dilemma, that the brochure is having hair cut (with Shampoo) 150 + 12.36 % tax and i have never asked about the shampoo (Cost reduction, if i not wrong)

Super Green trends @ HYD, Mothi nagar, keep it up and keep going...
