[Resolved]  GSOWN Vacations — False Promise + Inconvenient Behaviour

Once I got a call to attend a small session for a Vacation Club named : GSOWN Vacations. On phone, they had promised to provide a voucher for a 1N/2D stay at a khandala property of theirs, and a meal voucher in Quality Inn restaurant. This was irrespective of the fact whether I am interested in their membership or not. (I had specifically clarified this clause on call)
After I arrived for a 1 hrs presentation (which actually extended very unprofessionally for around 3 hrs), we were literally treated in a very rude way once we rejected the membership.
1. I pointed out, whatever they claimed and committed should be on the Legal Agreement document, for eg: Transferable membership, Sale authority of membership, availability commitment etc.. This was not present but the worst part is they started shouting and misbehaving and tried to force us to take out our card to pay. Also insulted in a tone that if I did not mean to buy why I came... that sort of..
2. I was told in the presentation that more than 400 members have taken the membership in the last month. When I wanted proof, their register showed around 10 members in the last 3 months. Here also they abused me and my wife for trying to be too over smart. They said "that means all who took it are ?"
3. Finally they did not give us the vouchers saying, if you had taken the membership then it was complementary. However on charging, they provided the holiday voucher and told the food voucher would come by courier (while in call they said, we would book the tables today only if you like). That courier has not come even after 3 weeks.

So everyone, please be very aware before visiting this "may-be-fraud" company. Their office is in Shohrab Mall opposite Jahangir Hospital in Pune Station area.
