I had purchased a rot iron- sofa cum bed from Happy House at Girgaon. I had paid him advance of Rs.5000/- on 14th Dec,2010 & the remaining amt was pd on the day of delivery i.e Rs.4000/- on 29th Dec,2010.
In the month of February ,we realised that some of the rods are getting bend. We went to the shop & told him about the same. He started defending himself by saying that may be because somebody might have stood on it. Whereas this was absolutely wrong . We also realised that the rods were not properly wielded. Me & my father were repetitively following by personal visits & telephonic reminders, still he kept on avoiding to send anybody for repairs. Although we had agreed to pay extra money.
Finally on 3rd march,2011 on the rod got broken. But till date nobody has come for repairs.
Who can help me now?
Can somebody guide me what to do.? I have the copy of advance receipt with me.
