Hi Team,
I had purchased a HCL tab me Y2 with sim card. Bill no. 488 on 13 August 2012, paying 14,500/- cash. It is quite unfortunate that within 3 working days the LCD started flickering even though there was no mishandling or physical damage to the product.
The tab was continuously hanging and with flickering LCD, I was upset and finally took the tab to Service Centre at Chandigarh, Sector 17 on 14 September 2012.
Your representative Ms. Renu Chawla, duly copied in the email, informed us clearly that this tab has LCD issue and will need 20 days to get it repaired. Another information given to us by Renuji was many tabs of the same model are occuring with same issue and there is a manufacturing defect in this model.
Therefore, I requested to get the tab replaced and not repaired as the tab was unused and I was not ready to wait for 20 days for a piece that is not even used one complete day, also since its my wedding and I will be shifting permanently.
My request was denied by Ms. Renu.
To resolve this issue, I request ythem to kindly accept my request to replace the HCL tab with a same piece without defects.
I trust HCL always have positive approach towards the customers and believe in resolving the issue. I have been using HCL products and have never encountered any such problem earlier. I would welcome them to discuss the matter further and close this issue as soon as possible. Was this information helpful? |
