[Resolved]  House Owner — House owner block my water line

I am tenent. My house owner name is mr. Chinna samy. He is running a flour mill in his part of his house. I give rs.10, 000. For advance for house and rs.2000for rent and rs.300. For water supply. I got this house on december 2009. From this month begining house owner insist me to vacat the house. I ask him to give one month time. But from today morning he disconnect my houses water supply. What can i do? Where i give the compliant? Kindly give advice. Thank u

My house owner is acting oblivious to the electricity problem in my house. I stay in the first floor of a Ground plus one independent house in Secunderabad. I pay a rent of 15800 Rs per month. Out of 3 phases, the wire which goes to the 2-phase got burnt out and was fixed by the owner (as it was supplying poser to his house). The 3phase also started getting messy. Even after repeated complaints the owner did not get it fixed. The electricity board folks never answer my call or even if they do never turn up to fix the issue. This is one of the problems I am currently facing due to the negligence of the owner. He never provides me with his PAN card number to declare the rental amount for Tax exemptions. Always takes the rent in cash and not through bank transactions either. Worst thing was, 2 years back my father had passed away in the hospital. The owner did not even allow us to bring back his body to the house. If someone is actually reading this message and has authority to take action, I urge you earnestly to teach this guy a lesson.

Hi Sir, i am nagarjun we stayed in Rental house since last 6 months we paid 40, 000 Advance for 1 BHK, we are planning to shifted room cause of job relocation, we informed to house owner before one month but owner not given advance money back, when we ask he said he will return money but at what time i don't know exactly, please help me.

The land lady and his husband took security deposit of rs. 12000 and token money of rs. 3000. We gave a notice of 1 month before vacating the house and they said they would return our money but they did not. We kept asking for it but they are not giving it back. They both are not even picking our calls now. We have all the rent related documents with us. They live in A 451 sector 46 noida.

UNAUTHORISED CONSTRUCTION
Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your notice that we are student living in lado sarai .we are facing problem due to illegal construction going at f-27, lado sarai, , New Delhi -30. We are regularly being disturbed with a huge lot of noise and dust through an illegal construction. The owner of the house on being stop argued with us and asked to leave the room. Due to this reason, he creating a lot of problems for us, he is using abusive language and our life is in dangeor
Since past four month or so, construction is going on till 4th floor which is completely unauthorised and dangerous.
which is getting massive structural changes, cantilever projections, extensions of the rooms done, contrary to the building by the laws of MCD, causing serious danger to the life and limb of the residents, this building is fully illegal .this construction is going on without the mcd permission .

I request you to take neccessary action against this flat owner who has made the life misrable for the 1st floor as well as ground floor students.

House owner cheating — Regarding return of deposit

Hi,
I am writing from Bangalore. Last December (2007), I have given advance( in thousands!!) to a house owner in BTM layout, Bangalore. But due to personal reasons, I couldn't join for rent in that house. Here is the sequence of incidents.. Say today I have seen that house, and paid him the advance money, and was supposed to join in the house tomorrow. But today night itself I call the house owner and tell him that I couldn’t join due to personal reasons. After that, when I ask the house owner for the money I paid to him as advance, he paid partial amount after 3 months.. and when called and asked further for the remaining money, he responds in a rude way, threatening of not giving the balance money. Its been 5 months, and still am struggling to get my money back, wasting
My time, wasting more money calling him, mental disturbance when he replies in a rude way..
Can you please help, as I don’t have any documents or written proof stating the above case. Your help is very much appreciated as this is the case of many people back here in Bangalore!!.

House Owner's — Owner's Harassment

I getting lot of harassment from my owners. Shouting and showing they ownership for small issues. Finally i given a one month notice. In between they got a client. They said to vacate me within 3 days. I am ready to leave that hell of house. But that client did not came. Owners said we dont have money to give my deposit back. And also said, half of amount will give and another half amount will give after 15 days. I did not agreed. Even they are not ready to give post dated check of 15 days and also not a given one written letter. Then i went with my agents(Brokers). After lot of shoutings, they finally agreed to give full deposit after 15 days. I am paying my rent both sides(i took another plot). They were showing the plot more than 50 pairs of peoples. No one taken that plot. After 15 days they were saying you did not say anything to my father. He is only authorized person. His father saying we dont have any relationship with my sons. Now a days house owners becomes wicked day by day.Plans how to increase rental as quickly as possible.If you doesn't support them with there plans, you have to leave that room.Because Other person is waiting for that room.
That's why people are going to neutral that perticular matter.Hope a thinking as well as a good person will see these matters and find a good solution to learn a good lesson for these type of wicked house owner .

EB-House owner charging — EB-House owner charging heavily

We are tenants of about 10 families are staying #68/40 bharathipuram main street, shenoy nagar, ch-30. Our house owner Mr.Venkatesan was charged Rs.4 per unit for the past 5 yrs, but suddently, he asked us from aug'10 onwards Rs.6 per unit. We feel its too heavily chargable. We had discussed about this charge to him. He harshly reply that the government is charged highly that's why I charged this amount. If you feel its the charge is high, you can immediately vacate the house. We are all middle family, we don't know where to complain and moreover we are not in position to bare the huge amount. So. Please The Tamilnadu government do something regarding series issue. We awaiting the reply from the government or any well wisher.

Recently I after seeing an advertisement in a property site, I contacted a person( owner of flat in pune, owner lives in mumbai) for rent. I have agreed to pay deposity of 50K and monthly rent of 11K per month. I have payed 10K as advanced and insisted that the agreement to be done before I occupy the house. Despite that he did not sign on the agreement nor return my advance. He wanted me to occupy the house by just giving him the deposit money of 50K. I am repeateldy calling the person on phone but he is not responding to that. What should I do .. How do I get my money back.

My House Owner asking Rs:4.50 per Unit, I don't know they are provided whether correct meter or not, but per month nearly 400 units its showing,, but in day time no one will be at home, then how it possible,,? If i ask to owner they will shout at me,,, Per month they asking double charge means per year they ll have too much money,,
Eg: normal charge Rs:2
But they asking 4.50,
So (extra)2.50*300(unit)=750/month *12month=9000
So they earn corruption 9000 per month extra,,,

All house owner need to pay some amount for unit some particular year only,
but per year nearly 9000 is too cost,,,
Who will ask this,,,?

I am living at Teynampet, me and my husband both are working. Nobody will be available at our house during the daytime and I have no AC. My house owner is collecting Rs.5 per unit and he is getting 1500 to 2000 Rs for alternate months. We are really upset with this house owner. Our address is Old No. 48, New No 105, Ramalinga Easwarar Koil Street, Teynampet, Chennai - 18. Pls anybody inform us if we can raise a complaint on him.

But they asking Rs.8, 00
So (extra)8*100(unit)=800/month *12month=72000
So they earn corruption 7200 per month extra, ,
Water, Charge -Rs.250
Cleaning Charges - Rs.250
Drainage Cleaning - 3000/Year
They providing Solty water only..

Recently I vaccated my flat ( 4094, 10th block, janapriya heavens, allalsandra, Yelahanka 560065) of Ganapravve Subbarao(house owner) with a One month's notice. As per agreement I need to give 2 month's notice. I have 30k as deposit, so legally and logically the house owner should return me 25k, deducting one month's rent. But house owner is making unreasonable calculations and deducting the whole deposit, upon that asking me to pay her 6k more.


Problem is, the owner is not sharing his phone number, and deals only over mail, never comes in person to meet also.

I am attaching my agreement copy.
I have all the conversations in mail.


I need help to get my deposit back.

Please help in this regard.

See if your house owner has violated any rule like illegal construction etc and raise with local muncipal corporation via online portals.

Please do not misunderstand my comments, but this will happen when you try to log a police complaint.

Do you have any proof that you have given Rs10, 000 to the house owner, if you log a complaint he will simply say to police that "he dosent know who are you" as you do not have any proof. The best thing which you can do is to talk politely and try to get the money back from this, after all its your money.

I have receipt, Receipt mentioned with 10k paid as token advance. On that receipt House owner and mine both are signed.
If you have a receipt you can go ahead with your police complaint.
