Harassment and Illegal Demands made by Committee Members..
The Committee Members of our Society Prarthana CHS, Nerul Navi Mumbai have continued to Harass and make Illegal Demands of money from Us. Though all our charges and maintenances are paid on time and No Dues are pending on our Room. They still continue to make demands for money from us. They do not have any explanation for the amount, they have been demanding. But They very smartly add interest to the amount every year. And to Harass us more, only because we refused to give into their illegal demands, they started to threaten us of dire consequences. And adopted illegal and arbitrary tactics of resorting to disconnect our water supply, giving threats that our room will be seized, and all our things will be auctioned. They even send notices to us demanding the money. If the cost of the notice is Rs 1,000/- they demand Rs 16,000/- as legal fees, If the cost of the notice is Rs 1,500/- they demand Rs 25,000/- from us as legal fees. They never reply to any of our request. They charge us more than the monthly maintenances, for no reason. Our monthly maintenances which we pay, they issue us receipts as On / Account, without any reason. Recently they even stopped taking our monthly maintenances. Again without any reason. They call us defaulters, and say we have caused heavy financial loss to the Society. Though there are no dues pending on are Room. They have deprived us of our Legal Rights as Members. ( Reasons best known to them WHY ? ).
Though the Joint Registrar of Cooperative Housing societies. CBD, Navi Mumbai. Have sent them many request to clear this issue, and also sent them a notice that they cannot disconnect any Essential Necessities of any rooms whatsoever. And when they are called at the Joint Registrar of Cooperative Housing societies Office, they never come. But they are very happy to charge us for their conveyances, their Breakfast, Lunch and Layers charges as Legal Fees. They have continued to act Arrogant and Irresponsible when dealing with society affairs. As they think they are the land lords of the society, and have always taken advantage of their post and misused their powers and our funds.
1. In our Society we don’t have proper lights, and the ones that are working have Soda/Pepsi bottles put on top, so they don’t get wet in the rains. We can’t afford proper covers for the lights.
2. We have no security in our Society for the past 5 to 6 years. Despite so many Unfortunate Incidents happening in our Society.
3. Though our Society is about 15 to 16 years old, Our Share Certificates have not been issued to anyone, despite many of our request.
4. We don’t have proper Dustbins in our Society. And the surrounding of our Society are not kept clean.
5. Bills have never been issued to any one till date. So no one knows how much to pay and for which month.
6. They hide the Book of Accounts from Us. And never reply to any of our request.
When we complain to them regarding these Issues, they say there are insufficient funds in the Society Account. As they have WASTED most of our funds, by building illegal structures, Over a Very Old, Unused, Unclean and Unsafe water tank, which still contains Approx 20,000 to 25,000 liters of Stale, Dirty water lying Stagnant in the tank for nearly 14 to 15 Years. And breaking our compound wall to keep a dustbin. (Despite our Objection not to construct anything over the tank, but to clean it, Before someone falls Seriously Ill due to the stale and dirty water in the tank ). Then they WASTE more of our funds only to put the wall back again. As per there conveniences and interest.
What’s more surprising is that no Action has been taken against any of the Committee Members, Despite our COMPLAINTS to the,

Joint Registrar of Cooperative Housing Societies, CBD Navi Mumbai. Regarding their INNEFFICIENCY towards their Duties as Committee Members.
Ward Officer Nerul Navi Mumbai. Regarding the Illegal Structure Constructed by the Committee Members.
Health Dept NMMC Navi Mumbai. Regarding the water tank, which still contains Approx 20,000 to 25,000 liters of Stale, Dirty water lying Stagnant in the tank for nearly 14 to 15 Years. Which could cause a lot of Health Hazards to all living in and around the area near the Tank.
Senior Inspector Nerul Police Station, Navi Mumbai. Regarding the Harassment, illegal Demands and Threats made by the Committee Members.

What’s more Astonishing and Surprising is that all theses Authorities are always ready to give Advise, but not ready to Help.

The Committee Members who Dominated and Ruled Our Society are,
Mr S M Shrivastav – Treasure / Secretary.
Mr Anant D Rajput – Secretary.
Mr Ashish Shetty – Treasure / Secretary.
Mr Vijay Kadam – Treasure.
Mr D D Kolte – Chairman (Since 1996 to 2012 Nearly 16 Years).
Now that Mr D D Kolte has Left the Society after creating a Mess of the Accounts, has Promoted Mr Ashish Shetty the New Chairman.
Mr S Sonawne the New Secretary.
Mrs Mamta Vishwakarma the New Treasure.
Another surprising fact is that when we asked the new Committee Members to explain the Illegal Demands, they have not bothered to even reply to our request. But still continue to make theses Illegal Demands. And these were the same members who told us not to make any payments to the society without any Explanation. But the moment they became Committee Members they have also started to do the SAME. As they have learnt from the Masters Mr D D Kolte and the others, how to Harass us, how to make illegal demands, how to hide the books of accounts, how to waste the Societies Funds, how to deprive members of their Legal Rights, Etc.
We have been living in this Society since 2002. And my family and I have gone through all this Stress, Humiliation, Insults and Embarrassments Etc. For no reason. But we have decided not to give up and will Fight Against Corruption and Dishonest People in our Society. As long as we Live. As such GOONDA RAJ HAS TO STOP.

The resolutions are excellent. However, there is no action on the defaulting committee members. If this is incorporated in the Bye-laws, then committee members will be more cautious while they act indifferently and harass its members with a definite ulterior motive.
As there is no penalty, Committee members feel that they OWN the building & think that they are the owners of the flats .
