[Resolved] HTC Incredible S — Product not serviced even under warranty | |||
Sir, I am facing the display problem with my HTC Incredible handset which I took to HTC service centre in Bunglow Road, Kamla Nagar, Delhi. My phone is under warranty but I was being told that I have to pay for the display component as the LCD side frame is dislocated. I just want to genuinely ask them does it make sense to pay for the display when just the side frame is dislocated which has nothing to do with the display technically. When you are using a phone for 8-10 months then some kind of minor wear and tear happens (in this case this frame dislocation is a part of wear & tear). I even told the service centre person to change the display only & keep the same old side frame but I was again told that this side frame is a part of the main display only and cannot be fitted alone. I can never believe that a reputed company like HTC will find reasons to not fulfill the warranty claims. Just think from my perspective that why should I suffer only because of a 100 rupee component (the side frame which is dislocated in this case). I request for the issue resolvement in this case.
