I bought an HTC Explorer model in the month of May this year. Since then I have faced around 4 issues like Headset port malfunction, touch problems and battery discharge even though I didnt load much applications from it. When I went for servicing the same, I did not find it convincing from both the service performance as well as the behavior exhibited by the service centre guys. I almost went to all the service centers in Chennai and I just found technicians who lack the skill to overcome the issue or harsh responses from their side. I was ultimately forced to sell the mobile and I incurred a loss of 2000 INR. I am writing this complaint with a view that the same must not happen to all customers and HTC must take some severe steps on the same matter in improving their service, especially the service centers in Parsn complex and the one in Alwarpet. Also when asked for replacement, I found a surprising/shocking response from the technician saying that WE DO NOT KNOW THE PROCEDURE TO CHANGE A HANDSET. So my word to everyone, think twice before buying an HTC and I have decided not to buy an HTC product in my life and I would suggest the same to all my friends.
