I am Sundar. I have more than 10 years of experience in the field of manufacturing, distribution, sales and now i work for a an IT-Enabled Services Company. Actually, when I attended this company's interview, I thought that there is a lot of high scope of learning about Taxation and GAAP standards, but the way these people in IBSN i.e. especially JB (as he is called) he told me that they will recruit exceptionally bright candidates and provide them the best of the salary and others will be paid only the ROCK BOTTOM salaries and when i was reading their agreement, I was very much shell shocked at their giving of 50% of the salary to the employee and the rest of the 50% of the salary after three months. How could this be?????Wish Laxmi to explain on this.
Being to say that they are International Business Services and Needs, better they do not say that at all. While recruiting there should be a good HR policy and these people do not have a HR policy at all. It looks like they are a set of people who work with as little knowledge of the HR policies and that while recruiting employees, you are not supposed to say exceptionally bright candidates (as JB said).
Exceptionally bright candidates are the people who are known to make a hell lot of mistakes and not the experienced people.
I am surprised as to what experience these people have. Better deem yourself in your own words.

I was an employee who was working in IBSN for jus 10 to 15 days. What I saw was really an awesome confusion there. Please find my list of confusion as below:
1. People are hired on basis of first come first serve basis. (i.e., ) who are all coming for interview got selected irrespective of the educational background and experience. The only thing what they see is the salary which the candidate quote. If it fits within the limit their border, they hire. My confusion is... What the hell do the hired Engineering students know about the taxes and how they can file or explain promptly to the clients in case of queries.?
2. The training was just for 5 days, I wonder how all people can file their tax o[censored]S working friends within that 5 days of training???!
3. Next comes the allocation of work.. On a random basis they allocated the job as processor, reviewer, job allotment person and TL. What I experienced is that tje teams which was divided was given among groups was headed by a person to report, as TL. Most of the TL dont know what they were doing and the processor are worthy than TL. Some TL dont know even to speak a proper english...!!!
4. The most funniest thing... :-) The teams were divided based upon a written theory test with a set of just 40 odd questions..!!! in which 10 odd questions were asked about the state abbrevations. (Eg: CA - California)
5. No employees were given even the basic need of food, tea or coffee for some days. Bull .. Even small company treat the employees well.
6. 3 months of contract and they say after that BASED UPON YOUR PERFORMANCE WE WOULD RETAIN YOU. No job security. Are they earning a low profit? Mr.CKO and other stuff of IBSN.. Employee work 8 hours a day including saturdays. Where is the job security? And in times of MUSHROOM VOLUMES which you always quote, we asked to work Overtime. No insurance coverage, ESI, PF etc., Do you think everyone will be happy..? You have a great attitude. But we employees have greater attitude than that. Many will come out (QUIT) soon. Dont worry.
Can anyone clarify my above confusions...!!! Million dollar question.

I filed my tax returns with this company thinking some budding Indian company would be benefited and at least some in India would get opportunities. But this company is a big Fraud they offer services like tax filing, and tax query support, FBAR filing etc., Once they got the payment its hard to reach them and they leave the job half done. I need to go to some other tax consultant for completing my tax returns.
I am planning to file a case against this company for doing fraud and not providing services to money provided though it takes some time its worth teaching a lesson to this company.

Trying to reach them for last 2 months..no response. tried all the ~12 numbers listed in their website and email around 10 times. no response. Ravikumar vishnubhotla who is the preparer of my tax file return is not responding. I used to get call 2-3 times a day before I did the payment. after payment not even a single time they called or responded to my calls. Need a legal action against them.

We have deposited Rs.5 Lakhs as (Operating Franchisee) with IBSN in Jan-09 and supposed to get back the money with interest by Aug-09. Two weeks back we received Rs.50, 000/- and the amount due from IBSN is almost Rs.7 Lakhs. We are not able to reach any of the contact persons and even there is no response to our mails. Could you please look into the matter and initiate for clearing of Franchisee Dues.
