[Resolved]  ICFAI University — ICFAI cheats

Hi,
I am doing my MBA in ICFAI. I have registered for upcoming January 2008 exams on 29th of November. It asked all my credit card details and informed me that my admit card is being generated after which it failed. I ringed ICFAI authorities in Chennai and they told my registration process is incomplete and they asked me to register again on 30th of November which is the last date for registration without late fee. I did the same and again it failed exactly in the same page.

Now when I got my credit card bill, I can see that both the transactions has taken place successfully and amount has been billed on my credit card. I rang my bank and they informed me that payment has been made to ICFAI both the times of my registration.

I took this to ICFAI notice. They answered me saying that I need to register now with late payment fee. When I asked them about the status of my payment, they replied saying they will revert it back. But now i need to register it with late payment fee.

Is there any one who experienced the same coz of ICFAI. I am planning to take this to court. I have all the necessary documents. Will anyone want to join hands with me?

ICFAI is a big institution,hey wait i am not telling good things just have a look at the games being played by those stupid people doing this bussiness.
1.First when student goes for inquiry they show all good things.they dont show the secanario in which student will fall after enrolling.
2.Students dont clear the subjects because of the drastic syllabus and less time.
3.They give chance of EMI"EASY MONTHLY INSTALMENT"ENROLLING AND MAKING money in INDIA"thats EMI.
4.When students want to withdraw they play nasty game on basis of financial companys like Hifco Marwell.
4.They ever never make it clear that these company pays in behalf o[censored]s.Who told them to do so rather??????????
5.When we consult them for discontinuing their people say stop the payment.and when we do it they threaten us of taking legal actions.
Why only law is with them only.the poor students those are entrapped in this trap why no support is given to them?Student should get support in this democratic country for which we say
"PROUD TO BE INDIAN".But of what use when all these types of dramas are going on in our own country because we are not getting together and not taking any actions because of which they are sucking hard earned money of parents........
We know there are many many and lots many students who r entrapped in this net.LETS COME TOGETHER AND KILL THIS GIANT SO CALLED ONE OF THE GOOD UNIVERSITY.........
COMES STUDENTS GET TOGETHER and SAVE EACH OTHER

All persons whose names are showing at this website are students how wants to take higher education but there financial position does not allows. All they students were coaxed by a deemed university ICFAI. Story was almost students are same as:- One marketing executive of ICFAI comes to the student and tell him about the Institute and a “flexi learning program”(FLP). He said “In this program you may take degrees of MBA of CFA Etc. and if you want to do you have to pay only very less amount as registration fee and rest fee will be taken in easy installments”. Ones when any student become in there coax then the executive take some formalities with application form with chaque or DD of such down payments and PDC’s of rest. After some time students get call from institute or get email about there enrollment.



After that the institute take finance of rest fee amount from a sister concern “Hifco Marwal” on behalf of student and student is bound to honor all pdc’s either he wants to continue or not. There are no chances to take refund the down payments even he have to pay the rest amount also.



If the student doesn’t honor the cheque then some professional recovery agents of Educational Institute (?) are comes to student and force him to pay full amount with interest. Even Institute also publish there name and all available details on this website and after some time file suit against student U/S 138/139 of negotiable instrument act. You can see there are so many names with the remark at the end “legal proceeding: Initiated”. Thousands of students are suffering from mantel and financial harassment by this Educational Institute I am also one of them.

Hi! I was also a student of B.Ed who is presently working in corporate school. As per amy understanding, the program prospectus had clearly indicated that the program is designed only for seeking employment in corporate schools. Am sure the same must be clear in your prospectus as well. Please read the same before raking up the issue, so that the real issues get highlighted in the forum. Hope am not offending you.

I have completed my MBA program from the institute. At the time of enrollment, i had registered for their placement scheme, they along with alchemist HR services also gave an undertaking, but despite 3 months having passed they have not given. infact they have evn avoided communication, .

can action be taken against them. they also took 5000 as registration fees

I have enrolled in MCA Program in the year of 2007. At the time of joining, the people of ICFAI assured me thet they will place me in a good software company and also collected the fees for it separately. Now i want to know whether will they be placing us in a good company or they just cheated me by saying all those stories. The people who have completed MCA course in ICFAI, please let me know about how you got placed in the companies, either by ICFAI or by your own. Please reply for this.

Also i heard lots and lots of rumors saying that it is not to complete the course with ICFAI. The exams will be very tough and we pass the exams it seems.Please reply me.

Hi i disagree to u all, as i am also an student of ICFAI, i have completed my Group H, with in 2 yrs,

the only think we need to do is Study hard, getting an MBA degree from ICFAI is not That eazy, u can only pass i[censored] really put extra efforts, and my dear friend i[censored] study well it againg going to beniffit u, i am use to study daily for 3 hrs, thats wht made me pass,

once u able to get passed u to will feel the difference, we cant blane ICFAI for all, its a reputed Bschool in india

yes it s very easy to clear exams of other Universitys "i truly agree it " but have u ever compared their study material with ICFAI, u will find the difference .

ICFAI MBA teaches u in depth


any wasy if we study only then we can pass

- the faculties of Icfai are best suitable for elementary school.
- they are playing with students academics
Eg:-They remove the supplementary exams . and they increase special supply fees increase 500 to 5, 000 without any informing to students.

There is no point in adding so many comments to the blog against this forger at this point of time...Lets think together and lets bring this fraudster to the notice of Govt. / UGC. Let them decide...How to go about this...Let the ICFAI word itself include in the fraudster list...And playing with them...they are the giant with all biggest hoax in it. . they play with the law...and also the third party...which is specilised in dealing with such things...But if we all are together...I am sure...we can kill this biggest ever fraud in the education system...

ICFAI IS CLOSING ITS BRANCHES AND IT IS OBVIOUSLY BECAUSE OF NOT HAVING APPROVAL OF AICTE.ITS CONDUCTING BTEC CLASSES WITHOUT AICTE.AND YOU CAN N'T APPLY FOR GOVT JOBS.BEWARE OF GANGSTERS WHO THREATS YOUR FAMILY TO COLLECT FEE.SO PLEASE DONOT JOIN ICFAI.AND I[censored] STILL WANT TO JOIN TAKE ATLEAST 10 STUDENTS WHO HAS PASSED THIER DEGREE.DON'T ASK ONE BEACAUSE THEY ARE GOING GIVE THEIR OWN STAFFS ADDRESS

I have enrolled in MCA Program in the year of 2007. At the time of joining, the people of ICFAI assured me thet they will place me in a good software company, but still i cant pass my A group of MCA.They cheated me same as they cheated to others & i paid my Rs.50, 000.
Papers are so hard & time is 2 less 2 passing any group even of hard work.its
