[Resolved] Income Tax office — Refund not received from past 3 yrs | |
Hello Sir My Pan card Number is AHEPC9233A and i am firing Income tax return from past 3 yrs and unfortunately i am not receiving any refunds, today when i checked the status of my refund online it says "Your assessing officer has not sent this refund to Refund Banker." now i called up SBI help desk and they say my Pan card number is not updated so they have not issues me any refund, and they gave me a number [protected] where i have to call and get my Pan number updated into the system, i called up there and the people wasted 30 mins and said that you have to contact the branch where you fired you IT return, now I am in bangalore and the return was fired in Mumbai, is there a way i can get it sorted online and i dont have to travel from city to city like old days as this is the era of Information technology Please suggest Neeraj Was this information helpful? | |

My Pan card Number is ABXPJ6178J and i have filied Income tax return for assessment year[protected] with Income Tax Officer, Ward-I(3), Jodhpur Rajasthan. I was informed by the Income Tax Officer Mr. S, P, Ratnani, Ward-1(3), Jodhpur on[protected] that on processing of my income tax return for the above mentioned year a refund of Rs.918/= has been determined. However the refund cheque could not be issued as the details of my bank account has not been mentioned in the reutrn. Please send the details of Bank Account. I have given my Bank account to the Officer in written on 1-9-2007 and also informed on Telephone Number[protected] to Mr. S.P.Ratnani to send my refund cheque immediately or deposite refund money in my bank account. Inspite of my repeated reminders and messages I hav not recied REFUND CHEQUE of Rs.918/=yet now.
Now I retired from Government Service and resides at my residence at 307-C Subhash Nagar, Bhilwara (Rajasthan).
Kindly instruct the INCOME TAX OFFICER WARD-I(3) JODHPUR RAJASTHAN TO SEND MY ABOVE MENTIONED REFUND CHEQUE WITH INTEREST PAYABLE THEREON EARLIEST POSSIBLE..
