[Resolved]  India Today Book Club / Reebok Sunglass — Refund of Order Amount

Dear Sir/ Madam,
I have placed an order of Rs 999 for “Reebok Sun Glasses” on 17th Jun 2009 with India Today Book Club. I’ve sent a number of emails to the mail id [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com and [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com in order to get the status of my order but got unsatisfactory responses. And also I’ve called there customer care on[protected] so many times. The below is the communication details last I had with them on 17th Aug-2009, but till today there is no response from them. I am calling to there customer care every other day, but everyday I'm getting different answer from them.

Now I am no more interested in their product and just want a refund of my money at the earliest

Any help of your in this regrad will be greately appreciated.

I have placed an order of Rs 999 for “Reebok Sun Glasses” on 17th Jun 2009. But the delivery is still pending and I don’t have any idea about the status of my order. My Membership details are as follow

The day I booked my order (17th Jun 2009), I got a call from your sales executive “Mr. Emamuddin” and he told that my Order Id is [protected]. But after some time he called me again and said that there was some technical issue at their end and a new Order Id has been generated for my Order which is [protected].

I’ve sent a number of mails to the mail id [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com and [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com in order to get the status of my order but got unsatisfactory responses. And also I’ve called your customer care so many times.

One fine day one of your customer care executive told me that my order has been placed somewhere in Faridabad on the name of “Shilpa Jain”.

Below is the Order History-

I have received call from your Sales Person Mr. Emamuddin on 17th June to book my order. When I had processed the order on phone and provided my credit card details through secured phone gate way. Initially he has provided me the Order ID [protected]. After some time I had received call from him and he had informed that he could not able to process my order on the Order ID # [protected] due to some technical issue and he has provided me the new Order ID # i.e. [protected], which is now showing “CASH ON DELIVERY” remark. The earlier Order ID # [protected], which was provided to me, is showing in the name “SHILPA JAIN’ from Faridabad which is showing as pre paid transaction. I don’t know what these guys had done and how they changed my order. I placed these orders on the basis faith, which I was having for you as “INDIA TODAY GROUP”. But I had such worst experience from you.

As in your above emails you mentioned that you have not received parcel back. I have attached Aramex tracking information for your information. As per them the package is already delivered to your concerned department on 14th July-2009, which is more than 30 days before. As per your customer care, till today this information is not updated in your system. Every time when I call your customer care I get only one answer that information is not updated in their system. I am not sure whether it is the duty of a customer to update this in your customer care system or you have any process for that. Only one thing which I can assert you is that your customer care is hardly bothered to show any respect towards a customer query. If it is not like this then I would not have suffered this much, just to get the status of an order.

Also I have attached by credit statement for your reference. It shows that I have paid for my order on 17th June-2009, which is more than 60 days but till today I have not received the product for which I've paid for.
I have other jobs to do other than calling your customer care every other day.
I am no more interested in your product and just refund my money at the earliest otherwise I would be compelled to take some other action.

I placed an order for Rs.999/- for 7Agatha Christie DVD. The offer promised me a sunglass along with the DVDs. The said order was delivered minus the sunglass. Repeated enquiry with the customer care personnels and several emails have resulted in nothing. Thereafter i was told that I would be getting a watch instead, which is also yet to reach.

Promise not to avail any of your offers in future. I had suffered a lot with the yearly subscription of India Today nd now this free stuff.

I also have ordered a reebok sunglass.But finally they have not sent the item and I asked them for refund.I got the refund after one month.India today bookclub is just a fake organisation and try to keep yourself away from it.
