I had opened an FD account with HDFC bank on 02 Dec 08 branch Bahu plaza, Jammu. On 2 Dec08 alongwith a zero balance savings a/c no [protected]. I didn't get any ATM debit card and pin package from the bank as assured by the bank during opening of a/c. On 31 Jan 09, when i enquired from assistant manager for ATM card and pin, i have been informed about the forguery transaction from my savings a/c is being going on and rupees 37, 500/- has been withrdrawn from the a/c using ATM card. Immediately, i submitted an application to stop the transition of my a/c and find out the detail of the person who received my ATM card and pin. As per the bank poilicy, ATM card and pin must be handed over to the a/c holder only. Then, How the bank delivered the package to unknown person. The bank failed to hand over the ATM card and pin to me.So, the total fault lies on the bank only.
So, i request you to issue NOC against my FD. I want full imbursement of my money which is being withdrawn through forguery. Was this information helpful? |
