Indian Passport — Applied for Passport But not Received in 8 months | |
I had applied for Passport on 13 April 09, which was to be delivered within 1 month. After 3 months of Application I had received a registered letter from the concerned dept specifying that I need to submit a form called 'PP FORM'. I had to bunk my office & waste 2 precious full days to get it submitted. As on the first day there was a power cut in there office they couldn't update my details into there system. Next day again I had to queue for almost 4 hours. Finally even after 8 month I havn't received my passport.

Indian Passport — Complain for not getting the passport since 8 months
Dear Concerned,Introducing myself as an Indian citizen living in Dubai and got married in November 2010.
This is in regards with a complain regarding the passport of my wife. We were looking to change the name and the religion of my wife on her passport. We've cancelled the older one and applied for the new one in Jan 13 2011 as asked by the passport authorities.
Since then, we've waited for the verification people as on their website it was mentioned that the file is waiting for the police verification. After 5 months when my wife gone there they said that the documents are not complete and file is not processing because of that.
When asked about the status on internet, they said that it doesn't mean anything to them.
We've resubmitted the documents and verification is done in my city two months back. Now, the status showing on internet is that there are still some missing documents, asking about this status they are repeating the same thing that they don't know anything about internet.
BUT PHYSICALLY WHEN SHE GONE THERE AND CHECK, THE FILE FOR HER PASSPORT IS LOST FROM PASSPORT OFFICE AND THE GUYS ARE ASKING TO RESUBMIT A NEW FORM.
REALLY FED UP WITH THEIR ANSWERS.
Please let me know what is the best step should I take.
Kindly look into the matter soon.
