I have booked for a mini remote controlled helicopter through indiavarta.com by seeing their advertisement in Indian express in last week of June 2011. The idea is that i want to present it to my nephew on his birtday on jly 31st 2011. The cost is INR1450 .I recieved the parcel within few days. Immediately i opened the parcel and found the toy was not looking new. But I did'nt check up whetherit is working or not because i do'nt have the batteries(6 no.s ) required for operation. I could only check it up the day before my nephew birthday i.e on 29th July by loading batteries. To my dismay i found that it is not even working. I went to market immediately and purchased one new helicopter and presented to him. I have contacted indiavarta personnel number of times but no proper response from them. one of the person told me that i have to talk to their manager. Whenever i call, she will not be available. First time i have tried to shop through online and got my lesson. I feel many other people may be getting cheated like this as i am seeing lot of advertisements of Indiavartha.com in news papers.
