[Resolved]  Insurance — Postal irresponsibility

Dear Sir,

AWB # ED[protected]IN dated 6/3/2010

A document was sent to me vide speed post on 6th March 2010 from HDFC Standard life from New Delhi to Kazhakuttom.

Yesterday, 13th March 2010, I traced the packet via internet and understood that the packet was wrongly sent to kulathoor post office instead of kazhakuttom.

Due to urgency in recieving the document, I went to kulathoor post office and found my document myself. I have shown them my passport and driving licence as ID proof and pleaded them to deliver me the document as it is very urgent and I needed to cancel the contract with out any delay. But the authorities misbehaved to me and told that this will be send back to Trivandrum RMS. I went to Trivandrum RMS but could not collect the document. I even went and saw post master of Trivandrum General post office but he was also not able to help me.

Today being a holiday, tommorrow if Trivandrum RMS sent it to kazhakuttom post office, I might recieve it on Tuesday which is also not sure.

Such irresponsible staff can spoil the name of Indian postal department and customers will be attracted to private courier services which are far better.

Please do the needful.
