[Resolved]  Jet Airways — Rude and irresponsible staff

I had checked in at Chennai airport on 30th Oct 2011 to board my Delhi flight of Jet Airways. I was issued a boarding pass with boarding gate mentioned as Gate No.5 which is on the ground floor. I completed my security check and waited near the gate 5. Not having seen any signs of boarding, I went and asked one Mr.Brish Nepu Narayan, if the flight is delayed. He very impolitely said that the flight has completed boarding and departed. The time was 19:40 and the scheduled departure of the flight was 19:55. He was busy arguing with me to put the full blame on me that I did not listen to the announcement. The conversation got heated up and I asked for his senior. he replied very arrogantly that" I am the senior, there is no one above me". I was surprised to listen to the comments he made during the conversation. " Even if you sleep the whole night at the airport, nothing can help you", His threatening statements, " Your flight has departed. You have no business here.I will call the security to check you out". These words are from a jet customer care fellow!!!!!!!! Finally a duty manager, Ms.Sreelakshmi, listened to me and she figured out that there was an AI at 21:30 from International airport. That flight was delayed and took off at 1:00 am and I finally reached delhi at 5:00 am. I had a meeting to attend at 9:00 am
I finally came to know from their own staff that, while the conversation going on, the flight did not had departed and a little concern for human being, would have been enough in Mr.Brish Nepu Narayan to help me board the flight. Jet airways as an organisation as far as I understand are not bothered about neither the customers or employees. There are many Brishs that they have hired and still enjoying honeymoon in that organisation that do not care for customers. I am a frequent traveller across India as I work as a National Sales Manager with an organisation. I have taken a firm decision not to travel any time in future by jet airways and influence as many number of my friends and colleagues about this experience.Ultimately there is no value for the extra premium that you or your company pay for buying jet tickets. Bottom line is there is no service oriented airlines as of now in India, keep price and convenience of time as the only criteria for choosing between airlines/tickets. JET IS JUST NOT WORTH THE MONEY THAT YOU PAY AND JET STAFF ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARROGANT OF ALL.
