Most unethical /illegal method to acquire AMC with anybody is to damage the product and then come for rescue and push AMC.
This happened to us we have KONE lifts in our building Pride Paradise in Thane, we have come in this building since 2010 March,as it is new building it was under the builders maintenance, the builder was to handover the building with Society formation by March 2011, but due to Builders own personal reason and greed they did not handover the building, hence we were against builder, but surprisingly the KONE engineers came to the building and manually stopped (tripped both lifts we have 2 lifts) Lifts and went away, (Note there was no AMC but warranty installation so they donot have right to come and stop the lifts.) The residents had to call the KONE and request to come and do something and the personnel comes to building start one lift and goes to the resident of building and demands him to sign the AMC dated from March 2011 and the incident is on (25 july 2011), the stupidity of requesting to sign the AMC draft is the AMC draft is between the builder and KONE dated March 2011.
We are stuck with KONE the lesson learnt is do not go for KONE lift for they are into unethical practices to get AMC.
